Thank you! I don't mind the mono-pose models but I wish you could at least slap your own shoulder pads on without cutting up the model. This was a great way of showing how to do it.

You can on the multi part kit. The shoulder pads fit the gravis pads

Great kitbashes. Only thing Id say is that "Robes" are always more of a DA than BA thing for me.

I know this was published months ago. I'm glad they are releasing the multi part bladeguards next week. I hated cutting off the shoulderpads for a deathwatch conversation I did.

Pro Tip for the hardened Yellow: It happens when the Yellow reacts with the blue, as in the contactpoint. Best is of course to not get the doublestrips, but versions where they come allready seperate. Depending how old your green stuff is, you have hardened yellow Bits all throughout your yellow. The worst offender here is definetly Army Painter, they GS is plainly just garbage.

Working on kitbashing some blade guard veterans for my Raven Guard army. But I'm using Primaris assault intercessors and building them into a style that fits Raven guard a bit better. I have a set of Dark Furies and I made some cheap molds of the wings from their jump packs. And I'm making some copies of them and then adding stuff to them to make shields for them. Still working on it. A bit at a time. Curious what you would do for a set of RG blade guard veterans?

Sounds like you could use them as Vanguard veterans with the jump packs. That's what I'm planning. But yeah, wings are good.. Beaky helmets, throw some feather trinkets in. Also, maybe some more stealthy tech, like scopes, scensors, extra bags etc. I'll have to give it a proper think.

On mine, since I'm using those cloned Dark Fury wings as the shield, the shield has a natural cut out towards the top. Using that as a place for a gun they sort of work like a breacher shield. The Blade Guard have pistols. So I thought I might add silencers to their pistols and emphasize their pistol use over their sword use. Have the swords sheathed either at their waist or on their back. Can't decide on the right sword for them now. Big and fancy or something that seems more fitting for stealthy ninja-esque fighters. Like some of the almost katana power swords aftermarket makers are selling, maybe? I planned on Beaky helmets. And a few other things to sell the RG look. The normal bird skulls, feathers, and chapter logo stuff. Anyway, I'd love to see your thoughts and ideas.

@@looselycollected7505 This sounds badass, you'll have to share it with me when you're done. The curved/stealthy sword would definitely fit. But bladeguard can fit a fancier look as well as they are veterans. I might have to take a crack at them one day.

Have to say bladegaurds are my favourite but other than guilliman my son said does he do guilliman, and he made me think nobody has done guilliman that I've I know of you could definitely something with him though maybe he decides to go black templars or blood angels what you think ???
