I really like this learning technique. I never thought to counter lean my upper body to get my knee to touch since obviously everyone who does it is leaning into the turn for _less_ lean angle because they're flying. This is perfect for normal road speeds to get used to the knee hitting. I counter lean to turn at slow speed of course but never thought to combine that with a buttcheek off and knee down at the same time. Genius way to learn! Another tip I've heard that works well for me is putting weight on the outside foot peg in turns (whether leaning or counter leaning). It feels better and helps keep the bike upright if you hit a bump or something in the corner

Foot position is the ball of your feet is on the pegs, body position as low and off the side of the bike as possible. The whole point is to reduce the lean angle of the bike so you can corner faster by maximizing grip, using your knee as a guide to how much farther you can lean the bike before sliding out. At the highest levels in MotoGP they can even recover from sliding the rear out by literally pushing the bike off the ground with there elbow and knee. Incredible

True! It‘s insane If you tell a noob to learn it this way, they never get the knee down and it‘s very dangerous with super high speeds so I do it this way and you can go the correct way afterwards 👌
@jackdavis76516 ай бұрын
I've got to ask, as a noob myself, why increase the lean angle? It seems counter intuitive. As the whole point of hanging off the bike is to reduce the lean angle? Knee down is just a byproduct? I still haven't got my knee down yet, my local Twisties require over 60mph to lean the bike enough if your hanging off 😂. I'm going to practise on a large roundabout soon just so I can get the feeling of it. I'm only 5ft 8 so I think I have to be leaned almost max for my knee to hit the deck

Very nice video and good explaining 😁 I want to try the knee down but i always fear to over do it and just fall! Plus i have the "engine cage" i think its the same as u have, and i always think that it will touch the ground and make me fall. These tips had defently inspired me to go and actually try it But Unfortunatly ill have to wait, bike is having white smoke issues, and it is very very wierd 🤷

Hi, thanks for the tips! I have just one question, i would like to record audio like you but i don't know how xD. If is not a problem for you could you make a video or just explain how you edit the raw audio ? thank you so much !!
@BRAAAPP9 ай бұрын
It's mainly a nice EQ in post production and you have to record it clean in order to work as well, like the recorder needs to be pretty much free and not obstructed by bags and stuff

What are the tire brands and sizes?
@edenswe18759 ай бұрын
Nices Video🔥
@BRAAAPP9 ай бұрын
@SirSnogo857 ай бұрын

I was hanging off and bike showed 50 degree lean and my knee still didn’t touch. Felt like I was absolutely flying 😂 Maybe I should exaggerate my position further

@BRAAAPP9 ай бұрын
Same bei mir.
