You can also use just one knitting needle to make a chain! So if you don't want to finger crochet or don't have a crochet hook, you can achieve the same look using just one hook. :) Beautiful work as always!

I use I-cord (3 or 4 stitch) for my stocking hooks - you have the needles right there! Nice stocking I did several a few years ago and have leftover stash to make at least one more this season.

Love the stocking. It’s definitely sock tober, I’m still working on the kids socks for Christmas 1 and half pairs to go. Going glamping for 2 weeks and I will get them finished..I hope. Oh I love this stocking too! I start my Christmas knitting in October because if I don't I am not able to get it all done. Just knit my husbands Santa hat yesterday and put it in my special tub of 55 Christmas balls and last years Arne and Carlos Christmas sock. I'm in the states so I purchase knit picks wool of the Andes for my Arne and Carlos Christmas knits. hugs!
