Thank you, this is very clear. I would like to use this technique to knit some cotton sweaters. I'd like to run some elastic thread through the bottom of this hem to give the cotton yarn some recovery. Do you think the stitch would cover the elastic enough so that the elastic is not visible when worn?

Hi Judy, thank you for your message and watching my videos 😊👍🤗 To use the elastic thread is a great idea, especially if it’s in the same colour as the yarn. Sometimes if the elastic thread is visible, you could crochet the thread once the sweater is done.
