I am still a total beginner, just a few months in, but the reason I started knitting was so I could make clothes, particularly sweaters for myself and my 3 year old daughter. I think I am still too novice to tackle it but this is the first video out of the hundreds I've seen that actually makes the information digestible and seem almost doable. I will definitely come back to this in a month or two when I'm ready. Thank you for creating this video!

THIS HAS BEEN SOOOO HELPFULL!! I have asked many people I know who knit how to do this and no one has been willing to show me. Most have said, "you just do it by trial and error". Thank you so much!!!

Are there notes for lesson 2? I've clicked on the link and checked the site but can't see any reference to this video or the PDF notes there. Great video by the way, I feel a lot more confident about starting my first sweater.

Thanks so much for this video! It is very helpful and easy to understand. I am making a sweater that will have buttons going down the front, how should I cast on the hem?

could you give me a link to a video on how to make the stiches go all the way around? I have only knitted scarfs before but don't now how you made your hem loop around like that. thanks!

That blue is a beautiful color. Bet that would be lovely! I have been looking for my perfect sweaters, but I never can seem to find them in my size or color or material. Fitted, fuzzy, very warm and washable! I'm trying to get back into knitting. My grandma first taught me how to knit when I was about 8-10 years old, and I always dropped stitches. lol. Likely due to that I have been a crocheter for so many years I need to relearn. I also sew, little more than beginner, but I wanted sweaters and of course- you can't sew as well what you can knit. So here I go. Getting some inspiration. Thanks so much for the video. Very nice. Only tip is volume. You're quite quiet. Did you make all the sweaters you wear and show? They are nice. Cheers

Question. If we were to work this piece in two pieces rather than in the round and we found the circumference of the bust-waist-hip measurement. Could we just cast on with half the amount for the back and the other half for the front? Or do you still have to CO with the same amount of sts? Also if we have access to the body measurements without the use of a clothing can we use those or does specifically call for clothing measurements?

Thank you so much for this tutorial! I am using your help to start my first sweater (exciting!) and before I've even cast on, I've got a question. What do you recommend for the cast on method? I'm considering provisional, but haven't figured out the best bind off method. What do you find works best with ribbing?
