This was very comforting to watch. I felt like I was learning from my grandmother how to knit a little teddy bear. I can't believe how easy and simple it is to sew the sides together using all the tails. Thank you ladies.

I have started making these and really want to donate, but I’m not sure where to drop them off? I’ve given my contact details 3 times but have not received a response. Please tell me where I can donate them?

i think you can just drop them off at accident and emergency

@Miraa Jain. Cast on 10 stitches. Work in knit stitch both directions for 28 rows. Break off yarn leaving a long tail. Cast on 10 stitches, work in knit stitch both directions for 28 rows. Now you have the two legs. Knit across one leg and join to the other leg. When you knit across both legs, you have begun the body. You should have 20 stitches on your needle. work these 20 stitches for 28 rows. Now, do you understand that she is telling you how to make the bear as she knits on the video? When you have finished, do the whole thing again and you will have two halves of the bear which you then can join together and fill with poly fill.

@Miraa Jain. There is another KZbin video called Learn to knit part two: basic teddy bear she makes the same bear, but she starts out showing you how to cast on and there is a pattern underneath written out that might be more helpful to you.

Please stop using acrylic wool as babies are sucking on plastic fibres. Also, it’s not biodegradable.

The English knitting style looks so unpractical. Millions of people knit with more time consuming awkward movements...
