I saw that pattern and thought it was awesome, but that cast on looks hard. I am only making my first top. I saw a cardigan by Isabel Kraemer, released and it looked nice to, maybe not as hard! Thanks for sharing Bobbi, your sweaters are all so beautiful

For me, starting with a knit stitch, I say, “Under the BACK, Pickup the FRONT. UNDER the FRONT, Pickup the BACK.”

Looks fiddley to me but probably because you are knitting continental style. English might be better for me. I have been wanting to learn this. I usually use old Norwegian co which I love. Thank you for this though.

This is not a tubular cast on its actually an Italian cast on.

Hi Michelle! This is from Andrea Mowry’s exact instructions and she calls it the tubular cast on. That’s interesting. I have heard that this exact cast on is also called an Italian cast on. Thank you for reminding me that there are different names for this cast on. 😊❤
