You can see how she rolls the hair in and pin it down really clearly. You don't have to use so much hair. We used smaller piece of cuevana twist braid.

+Naimah Turner You can loosely twist the hair at night to prevent it from tangling. Yes, you can definitely clean your scalp. You can separate the braiding hair into 4 quadrants, twirl each section into a bun, and use clips to hold each in place. You can use a spray bottle or squeezable bottle to apply shampoo and conditioner :)

Hi Thereal, knotless crochet doesn't have to be applied throughout he whole head. It's is usually applied around the perimeter + where you want to part the hair. It's definitely more time consuming than regular crochet braids.

I think you can do it with out the bun if you braid the front part of your hair horizontal instead of the cornrows going back. Like she did with the knotless part at the back .
