The reason certain colors were not offered on the SS was because GM could not get those colors to pass validation with SLP. By 98, all SS’s were built in house and shipped to SLP for the hood and spoiler and any second sticker content that was ordered. Monterey Marion Metallic for whatever reason would not pass validation, but somehow Sunset Orange Metallic did. Go figure. I got this information directly from Scott Settlemire, in case you wanted to fact check.

The fourth gen Camaro is definitely my favorite of all time. I had a 95 Z28 and wish I never sold that car. The only reason why I sold it was I was tired of replacing my window motors every couple of months. My car came with a very weird stereo configuration. It came with a Bose stereo but only have 3 speakers. 1 6.5 in each front doors and a sub in the back storage area on the driver side. And yes that was a Factory option.

Loving the videos! I want a 35th anniversary. My buddy wants to sell me his for $4k but it's beat up a lil and would take some money to get it back right. I'm on the fence about it. We love our 94 but we're going to be doing the 24x conversion which deletes the opti spark.

That is about the going price. Just depends on how bad you want it. It will never be worth anything in our lifetime but a couple more and people will def be looking for it. I have this issue with my LT1 Trans Am, my car will shut off after driving it for a good 15-20 minutes, I changed the distributor 2000 miles ago. And I’ll try start It up and it would ether crank or it’ll start up and shut off again, some people have said it could probably be the ICM
@CamaroTime5 жыл бұрын
Try cranking it and hold it at about half throttle. If it keeps running it is the idle air controller
@adriangarciaruiz535 жыл бұрын
Camaro Time yeah I tried doing that too but when I give it gas, it’ll shut off too. It’ll run and start good when it’s cold but once it’s warmed and I drove it for 15-20 minutes, then it’ll start acting up
@CamaroTime5 жыл бұрын
@@adriangarciaruiz53 I am sorry you are having issues. There are sooooo many things it could be and without having it here , it is almost impossible to diagnose. It could be the coil, the ignition module, the plug wires themselves, a bad EGR and so on. Have you replaced the coil or the ICM?

Yes. but they are not cheap. You can put the newer vented opti park in which gets rid of moisture build up. Or even get rid of it all together and go with a coil over design like on the LS motors www.torqhead.com/index.html
