Overall I agree, but I think it can be done in a cute way if it's done very obviously. If it's almost like a roleplay and there's no way the guy could interpret it as anything but "Hey pay attention to me!" it can work. But acting legitimately uninterested as a woman will, in general, attract men who don't respect your opinion. Those who do will listen and stop pursuing. Best case scenario it will confuse the guy about if you're interested in him, and guys want to feel wanted too!

Also if she proactively does anything like invites you to check out some place or even just initates the texting a lot. Most people there believe there is no friendship between men and women so this is clearly done to get closer to you in a romantic way.

I've dated only a few times with 2 different girls but they were both foreign, first one I straight asked out (even though I had never dated or confessed before), the other I told her my feelings very early on but in a respectful 'what do you think?' sort of way. Honestly, talking with a Japanese girl through text is somewhat complicated and can be confusing for guys who are new to dating. Half of them does reply quickly but half of them don't because of busy schedule or they don't want to get too obsessed with each other but still shows signs they like you. Anyways, I met a Japanese girl through online and we have been video chatting for almost a year now. She doesn't reply everyday because of her busy schedule but she does still reply and continue the conversation, even if she only replies 2-3 times a week (she did apologize for that and I simply just respect her personal life). Now, we already planned to meet each other for the first time and travel together. I plan to confess to her soon but if she denies then I'm not even sure why she even agreed to meet or why she even continues our conversation in the first place.

I had a Japanese born girlfriend who spent more than half her life in Usa. She still had the Japanese recognizable behavior and culture but she was corrupted insidiously by united state american ways even though it did not show at first. It's as if she sponged and picked up the worst things from usa and hid it under a thick layer of Japanese veneer (she went to high school in usa). It took me almost a year to figure out what was hiding behind sheep's clothing, she was mad, a possessed demon who's been in the worst places and done the worst things you'd want your woman to have done and can/will harm you. In hindsight the signs came very slowly almost insignificant just slightly unusual at the beginning but over the months more and more of her psychotic self came through. Once i found her banging kitchen pots with a wood spoon endlessly. I thought she was acting and maybe she was but i discarded it as some temporary narcissism fit. But it got worse Imagine you think you're dating a fine educated lady with a PhD then one day you discover she's been arrested by police and sentenced to a mental rehabilitation facility for assaulting a nurse and diagnosed with psychosis. I am only writing to warn young men about Japanese women who spent a long time in a debauched country like usa. Watch out. And no she was not just a victim, she had brought it on herself from very poor choices in her past. Because of her i struggled for years to have a normal relation with any Japanese after. But now it's been over a decade ago and i don't care anymore. Just i want to warn the young upright good men about dating any Japanese woman who takes lots of supplement pills and seems to be hiding a dark past. A lot of thing a western woman would not do in her youth, a japanese woman would not mind trying. Western culture is still highly permeated with religious do and don't even for people from non religious background. That is not the case with Japanese and if they spent their whole life in Japan they will follow Japanese social code to the letter and generally be reponsible and moral. But for those that are displaced to western country depravity without any western culture to guide them they can sink to the lowest levels. If a Japanese born woman grew up outside Japan and is evasive about her past after telling small bits of outlandish things. Run away.
