Hi, my check engine light on today . It say catalytic converter defect . But I have change it one month ago . Anyway I erase the code and check engine light gone . So my question is will it come back again. If so how long it will take to come back. Thanks Golf 5 ( 2008 ) 1.4 patrol engine I drove with bad kat about a week but no engine light on and after I drove another week without Kat no engine light on . When I change my both Kat and drove 500km not engine light. Then I put fuel injector cleaner and drove another 150 km . And after engine light on and it says on my obd2 Kat defect .

try installing spark plug spacer ,its same thread size . that's what we do in mexico

@@adrianglzlicona The Mazdaspeed 3 Platform is hit or miss with the plug spacers. I have tried it with no success. I ended up just getting a used OEM cat from a member in the Mazdaspeed community for free to pass emissions and all.

Hi man. I have 2012 Elantra with P2096. Are sensor was replaced no air leaks. Sensor 2 seems working fine. When I clear the code, it comes back around 15 miles. No driving issues but poor gas mileage. Any help would be great

how about sensor 2? My o2s s2 sits at 0 all the time, and dont move.. i got the error "P0131: O2 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage Bank 1 Sensor 1", and I have changed the sensor 1 two times already, and still not working.. i have no idle at all. anybody who can help? I have checked vacuum leaks, new air mass sensor, new spark plugs, new mass flow sensor, new EGR-valve, new throttle body and new o2sensor 1. sensor 1 is just like in this video, so it's working for sure. I have mazda gt 2.3l 2002

Could be many things probably a vacuum leak do you have a way to check vaccum? Look under hood check all hoses make sure none are dry rotted or leaking. If you dont have vacuum pressure gauge buy brake cleaner and spray around the top of the motor around the intake plenum air vacuum hoses if car tries to idle weird or stall out when you found your vacuum leak.

My 2009 Mazda 3 has been misdiagnosed a few times by different garages including a Mazda garage. The fault code is P0134. I keep paying for new Oxygen sensors all the time and the warning light comes straight back on when I get the car back. The issue is definitely not the O2 sensor. It has to be something else. I also had the bulkhead replaced last time by Mazda for a vacuum leak after they charged me for a new O2 sensor again which didn't fix the issue. The warning light came back on again a short time after getting the car back. Do you have any idea what it could be beside the O2 sensor? I don't believe that I keep having brand new O2 sensors fitted by different garages that are all faulty. I think this is a nice money-making scam for Mazda. If I want to test my O2 sensor I think my device only tells me the codes. Do I need to buy this same device you have or is there a cheaper device that can do the same thing?

Some says it can be by crapy paper air filter, some says it can be due to wrong EGR valve or MAF sensor and few of people using "M18x1.5 Lambda O2 Oxygen Sensor Extender"..this is my internet research...
