The problem is that they're in the same general area as my real crush who I feel romantic, physical, a smattering of emotional and a tiny bit of intellectual and maybe eventually sexual attraction too. This combination makes me utterly afraid (not nervous. I'm not that kind of person) to be with them in case somebody goes homophobe on me. And, thus, whenever it's a choice between walking with my crush and the other person, I always choose the other person. Any ideas you have??? I might possibly watch other Psych2go videos and become an "expert" on psychology, and then discuss intellectual attraction while my crush is in earshot, but I'm terrified it wouldn't feel natural. Y’all, I’m in my 40s now, and let me tell you that playing the guessing game is exhausting and your time is worth more. I had a friend ghost me because she got too close to the sun in our relationship. I literally grieved her absence but have come to the conclusion that she couldn’t handle being friends if she wanted something more. Omg this ;-; I always thought that guessing game and vagueness was fine between us cause we were having fun. I was always always upfront with him about my feelings and he'd rejected me when I brought it up...but his actions were so different, I got confused. It felt like the feelings were mutual. He never wanted anything and I respected that. I just wanted to stay friends if that's all he could offer. But when I called him out on his actions and set boundaries, he got angry and blamed everything on me. I felt like I ended up pushing him away when I didn't mean to. I just didn't feel like whatever we had going on was worth the confusion. I set my boundaries so we'd be clear with each other. I tried reaching out cause again, still want to be friends but I'm getting ghosted...I'd usually reach out again and again, but I think I've done enough of that. I guess the best thing to do is move on from him.

It is the best you can do, i get very close to friends i connect with well, specially if we have common hobbies, and since i am not very expresive with words, the way a saw my closest friend i care in through actions, always being there if they need to( like lending my house for a friend's birthday party cause it was going to be a picnic but it started to rain that day), not spending more than a few days without checking on them , always asking them to tell me that they git home safely when we went out, i am the kind of person that, if i see something( not very expensive obviously, just silly things) and i remember a close friend was looking for that or they would really like it, i get it for them as a small casual gift. The open body language one isn't always true. When I first started hanging out with my now husband, his body language was very closed off with a lot of mixed signals. I thought he was trying to push me away so I'd respect that and give him space but then he'd go out of his way to hang out with me/talk to me. Okay let’s put this into perspective : there are some people that will do these things but be hot and cold about them - these are not the people in question. If someone does some of these things or all of these things but less than half the time they just could be trying to woo you for their own benefit I.e to sleep with you & when they remember to put in the effort. Someone at work did all of this to me....I ended up reporting her to our harassment dept 😂 I communicated clear boundaries, but she was one of those "oh, you're just saying that" people. Be warned! I teach dance to children and the Mother of a child I was teaching sent me messages saying she couldn’t stop thinking about kissing and touching me and she had a crush on me. This woman has been married to a man for 16 years. I was horrified, she wanted me to join her and her husband sexually. I think she genuinely thought I’d be really flattered and happy, I was appalled and beyond distressed that she interpreted my basic human kindness as flirtation. Please don’t put people in these situations where you have decided exactly what you want them to do without consulting them, especially in their workplace. Also respect the word NO. No one is going to see this comment but I need to say it somewhere: there is this boy who was in my class last year and we ended up in the same class this year too. I have a hard time being friends with boys so we didn't talk much but he was always very nice. I only knew one other girl and him in the class so I talked to him a bit at the beginning of the year, he also often texted me to ask me different questions about the classes. But a misunderstanding led to someone telling him that I was in love with him. The people who told him this quickly realised their mistake and told him it wasn't true, I also went to apologise to him when I found out about it a week later. I was embarrassed to talk to him again after that story but we had a presentation to do together so I had to do it anyway. But after that presentation I really couldn't talk to him anymore and I realised that I think he's really cute and I might actually have feelings for him now. I'm probably just imagining things but I feel like we have too much eye contact and when I'm around him I sometimes feel like he's paying attention to what I'm saying. For example today several of us from my class were sitting on the same table and a friend was sitting between us, I wanted to show something on my phone to my friend and it looked like he was trying to look at my phone too. I certainly must be imagining things, but there have been several stories like this. I don't dare to do anything because I have very, very low self-confidence, I'm really not pretty and I think that boys wouldn't like talking to a girl like me. So I wrote this very long comment to see if anyone had any advice on how I could talk to him again, step by step. Here is my crush story:It's a long one So let's say the dude i have feelings for is named justin, right? Now lets fast forward to 5th grade , still had a crush and he started peewee football , and once he gave me 50 cents for my bday , he played with my older brother so one time after we came to pick my brother up from practice , my brother decided to embarrass me but telling Justin i liked him and he said "ew" , but i couldn't help my feelings , then he started dating a girl i thought was my friend but ended up not dating that long as we were little kids , so then he and i were still messing with eachother ,mind you throughout this experience i had other crushes bc i was boy obsessed but still couldn't get over how i felt about him. 7th grade, he also was also with my classmate in class (not like that), but i was hurt, and he was always looking at me Now lets go to 8th ,still doing the same thing but once we were in gym class annd a 6th grader snatched my phone bc he liked me and i couldn't get it back so i went and told the teacher and he was telling him to give my phone back and then Justin was asking me who it was and i showed him and i think he got it back or was about to. Now 10th-we were online school bc of covid and were still having football games, so my family and i went, and he was there standing on the steps looking at me per usual. Fast forward to senior year, my cousin was hired to work at our walmart as a hiring person, and so guess who he ended up hiring yall? That's right, Justin. Justine had graduated early with my brother due to the fact he was left behind in one grade and started working at my walmart as a cart pusher and yeah...he was still always kinda looking at me, i was also close friends with his other girl cousin and ended up asking about him , she told me he was loyal and stuff but couldnt do anything at that time he had a gf. My brother also said he was cool ,but anyways as he ended up working at wallyworld as some call it , i ended up going through a series of traumatic events in my life , on one night i was going through something which left me feeling faint and he was one of the ones to help me with a concerned look on his face and i ejded up being away for 5 days , anyways i found my self dreaming about him even though i thought i wasnt thinking about about him ,and recently he started talking to me again , once he said hey to me and i smiled and he smiled and then the next day he was teasing me and we locked eyes but i didnt wanna take away his attention and ofc my mom teased me and said she wanted to put us together and i like a paticular type of guy(Godly man) and my mom was like what if he changes him?
