Listening you talk Adam about recovering from COVID brings up some anecdotal evidence. I'm a firefighter paramedic. We've noticed men on testosterone have been hit worse by COVID. I have friends who are doctor's in the ER that have noticed the same.

I had the same experience after I got my 2nd covid vaccination, I got very sick from it and after a couple of weeks being sick, I wanted to go back to the gym and start training again but I didn't have any energy. I kept trying for a few weeks, but I was just so fatigued and couldn't muster the energy for it so I eventually gave up. I was in good shape training 4-5 times a week, I didn't take testosterone or anything like that. Now 1 year later I'm finally back in the gym again..

I’m on test I’ve had Covid 3 times and once I wouldn’t have even known if my friend didn’t tell me she had it. Two other times I was just super tired, that’s literally it.

Hey Guys, my 2¢ is that Adam gave the best answer: "Tired" and "Fatigue" are NOT interchangeable terms and at this point, I'm not sure it's possible for people without fatigue to fully understand it. Tired: You're sleepy or dozy or bored. Exhausted: You've been extremely active and you know the reason behind how you feel. Fatigue feels like you've been hit by a truck; you've "hit the wall" without the workout; or perhaps you have an invisible elephant sitting on you. I'm in my fourth year of an autoimmune condition (Lofgren syndrome, a rare, acute form of Sarcoidosis, and I have liver damage from medication). One thing that has helped me some is hitting my protein goal - So thank you for the advice. I still can't do more than some work with resistance bands, but I'm glad you keep banging on that drum. Also the weight training first before cardio. Both excellent tips. I hope Adam is feeling better and none of the rest of you ever experience fatigue; it royally sucks way more than I can explain. Take care 🌻

If you get a hand strength dynamometer you can test your grip strength. It goes down when you have a lot of systemic fatigue.

Mindpump: you guys completely missed the point here & did not answer the question stated in your video's title... "Fatigue" - is the loss of force/power producing capability of a muscle, which is reversible with rest. "Neuromuscular Fatigue" can be objectively quantified in a laboratory setting using the interpolated twitch technique pre & post exercise. "Tiredness" on the other hand is a subjective perception of an individual's self-reported state of being. Please avoid using these terms interchangeably in future videos - I'd even be happy to elaborate further on this question.

Very hard to tell over the years. When I was younger, I’d just workout until I threw up. Then I’d know I was done done. Not just tired and needing a few minutes more rest.

Hey mind pump is it okay to mix my creatine with my protein powder? I like to take em both at once. Also is switching up my protein from whey to pea to soy beneficial? What about mixing them together?
@iamindin001
@iamindin001 3 жыл бұрын
Yes you can combine creatine and protein ;) doing this every day - important for the creatine to digest well is a combination of insulin spike so usually with some sugar or carbs in combo is best. A whey shake will serve the same purpose for example.

yes it's okay to mix creatine and whey, I've been doing it for more than a year now, but my whey is normal whey not vegan or pea or anything like that now about switching your protein powder, I'd stay away from anything vegetable/soy. Dairy can be considered a "superfood" and whey protein is the supreme version of that

@@davifurtado6534 what’s wrong with soy? I eat edamame a couple times a month with my oatmeal and it’s tasty and high protein. I also really enjoy Kay’s cereal from Amazon, it’s high protein and it uses soy protein isolate. Two bags with a 10oz of fairlife milk is a solid 40g of protein

Literally going threw it right now I wake up with a headache n kinda sore and unmotivated. I'm sick of cutting and want junk. Trying to determine if it's meds or sleep or overtraining. I'm running maps anabolic advanced and don't know if it's too much volume. I work 10 hour days so it's a mix if things..I feel u though

I didn’t really get a distinction between the two here. Also, I would highly recommend getting back into training even with “long COVID” symptoms because said symptoms don’t just go away on their own. Some have suggested vaccination will address “long COVID” but notwithstanding that, those symptoms may be there to stay.

Covid narrative is a fraud. Big Pharma has bought and paid for doctors and pharmacists, and now they have bought and paid for politicians all over the world. Don’t follow mainstream media which is also bought and paid for. Do independent research and always take what people who benefit by ruling over you with a grain of salt.

See this is fucked for me. Haven't done legs forever. They're capable of doing 185x5. However, its too much damage and I won't recover, get emotional disturbances significantly the next day. Like depression, super fatigue, etc. Drop the weight down. Do 135x12. Same shit, little better. Drop the weight again. 90x12x2. Same god damn thing. Maybe it's because my legs are so undertrained, but they have been trained before, so the strength is there, but the endurance and CNS resilience isn't. Weirdly. The fucked up part is my body is fine. I could easily push again, push hard, all day long. But if I do, I get lagging indicators the next day. WtLf. Guess my nervous system is the weak link and I have to build that up first.
