I have a theory for Ike's codec not working for his Radiant Dawn outfit. I think the game treats both costumes as different "characters" which is bizarre but hear me out. Ike's design in Brawl is the first appearance of him and his Radiant Dawn outfit is the 2nd one in sm4sh with his old alt being nowhere to be found. I think they just took the data from sm4sh and implanted it into a different "character" which is why it doesn't work. Alph's costume was built with Olimar's functions in mind so it makes sense why it would work even if you're Alph as the code is exactly the same.

Old facts can sometimes open up a gateway that comes from changes made back then, so even if it's old it can still be useful as a reference to the new fact. (Much like mentioning facts or changes from what happened in older series of smash compered to what is in the game now.) [Some things can be applied by linking back to older videos, more work but more comprehension]

This is my assumption on why Pokemon Trainer lags the win screen in 8 player Smash. In 8 player Smash the Trainer's model isn't loaded. But because Pokemon Trainer won, at that point it is loaded. Ice Climbers isn't effected because all Ice Climbers are loaded.

Also keep in mind that when you open the character select, it takes a while to load the pngs of all the characters and alts (although it is grabbing everyone's which would be around 800 . . .)

It actually makes sense for Wario to change the face first while turning metal or getting inked. Wario from Wario Land 2 to 4 was known for "transforming" when hit by certain attacks or obstacles.^^

The training mode frame my frame does work for codec, it's just tricky, you need to press D-Down and ZL in a certain order. I forget the details but I remember pressing one and pressing holding the other at the same time then releasing one then releasing the other.

The animation of ZSS charging a smash attack with the star rod makes it look like she's brutally interogating a candy cane. One with yellow stripes. Lemon-flavoured. A unique design befitting the unconventional and elite. Seems the "Big Man" is using elves to produce an army of Metroids, using the natural cold to keep them in temporary stasis.

Some possible explanations on Pokémon Trainer: •The reason why Ivysaur can possibly be heard is because the Trainer’s animation is actually a reused animation of his victory screen (left) just without the Pokémon beside them so most likely the animation is currently playing Ivysaur’s victory thing but his model was deloaded due to the multiple amount of characters on screen atm. I’m not sure why this glitch is exclusive to Ivysaur though •the reasoning for the next fighter might have to do with how the game has to instantly switch to the next Pokémon if the trainer is to send out a Pokémon after losing a stock, you can especially think of this being the case for if in a team battle and the trainer shares a spare stock that they will send out a Pokémon even after losing all their own stocks, so for the victory screen the game might treat it for the trainer to send out a Pokémon if one is currently not in play in order for them to appear on the victory screen which is why it probably does the next Pokémon since that’s what would’ve gone out if the trainer were to gain an extra stock for some reason •the reason why the game does a small lag is most likely because due to the game not able to handle too much with 8 player ice climbers already pushing the limits of the game (or the game simply would need to be able to quickly load/despawn in multiple characters/assets for whatever reason whether that be WoL final boss or Squad Strike), any extra models or characters that are unnecessary will be removed in the battle which also includes the PKM Trainer themselves and being treated as if they are just simply offscreen as seen in the switching animation- however, the victory animation needs to have the trainer shown so since the game didn’t have him loaded in already, the game has to quickly load him in right now which causes a brief moment of lag as it loads the trainer in and then performs the victory animation with them. The reasoning Ice Climbers don’t have this happen most likely is because they are already loaded in from back when the match first started and they had the load time from when on the loading screen when starting a match so they are all set but as stated before the trainer wasn’t given this moment to load them in, only the Pokémon themselves were loaded in with the trainer’s voice but the actual trainer themselves aren’t loaded in, so when the victory screen happens it needs to quickly load the trainer in which causes the small piece of lag •the reason why the trainer’s animation will change on the mod where the fighter is KO’d is most likely due to how the trainer is directly linked with the Pokémon and in a match the trainer will react/follow the Pokémon (so things like taking damage or getting a KO or moving farther away will cause the trainer to react), and so because the trainer is directly linked with the Pokémon and reacts accordingly (with the defeat animation overriding all their other animations to prevent them from moving around after their Pokémon faints and will only be overridden by the switching animation seen when another stock is available), the trainer will react to their Pokémon being KO’d and override whatever animation they are currently doing to perform their defeat animation which in it itself won’t be overridden unless the game treats it like they have another stock available for them to have another Pokémon in play (something seen when having another stock, sharing stock, or victory screen where the game makes them a winner) Sorry if it seemed like if I started to ramble, but yeah these are my possible explanations on for some of the PKM Trainer stuff

There’s been a glitch that’s been in the game since launch, that has not been patched, this is with his sword catching on fire and staying that way for awhile. You probably know this but i found out that if a character had super armor (well kirby jabbed kazuya im not sure on other jabs and characters) the combo counter actually stays as 1 and doesn't go higher like normal

The thing about Roy Campbell’s VA isn’t an official reason, not a realistic one either. It was an assumption from someone on the internet, but as baseless one since not all conversations are between Snake and Campbell. There’s plenty of characters that could be featured in the codec conversations such as Otacon and Mei Ling (already featured), Master Miller, Nastasha, Naomi, Sniper Wolf and Meryl (not used in Smash, but have portraits for the codec) or even guest stars such as Slippy. The real reason is because there weren’t the same conditions as back in Brawl. Snake inclusion back then was a milestone and the whole Codec easter egg was a celebration of sorts. Kojima wasn’t there to help out with the conversations during Ultimate due to his split from Konami, and there simply wasn’t a priority or the occasion for it.
