Excellent. Thank you. The wrists-only swings was really helpful as was watching how relaxed you swing the club.

Thanks for your comment, Terry! There are so many motor skills for other sports or hobbies that we all know how to do but don't recognise them in our golf swings. This Video will help so many of our subscribers! Let us know how you get on. ( Steve )

Great video Glen. Exactly what I need to work on. Terrific breakdown. The skipping stone, trail arm and rotated elbow all great pointers. Thank you. Keep them coming.

Hi Glen- thanks for the 1-1 swing coaching; for the first time I’ve seen my club leaning at impact. Helped improve my balance as well. I’m know I need to be patient and work at this.

Hi Glen, great tutorial. Why do you want to lag? What part of the swing or shot will it rectify?
@AussieGolfPros6 ай бұрын
Thank you for your questions Wayne. Firstly, Lag helps us generate more clubhead speed later in the downswing: through impact, as the club is released later. Secondly, Lag makes it easier to contact the turf after the golf ball. Golfers who ‘cast’ the club or release early, tend to either hit the grass behind the ball or thin some shots.

great explanation Glen. No divot or fat shoots is something I've always struggled with. Is there anything I can do, or think about at the start of the downswing to help me get in the right position at impact?

My problem is I am predominantly left handed but play golf right handed. Skimming stones is not natural right handed. I am going to have to practice skimming stones right handed.

That’s a tricky issue Tim. Don’t feel left out, there are plenty of top golfers generating great lag, who are top-hand dominant. All the best!
