Would that be possible to make on a co2 laser, and what do you think the settings be instead of 16% power? Thank you so much for something so new for me to be able to see

If you can engrave on wood, or painted canvases, you should also be able to do the scratch leather. The idea is just burning a layer to expose the beneath color layer. For settings, its hard to say based on lasers being so different. Especially diode to co2. The best suggestion would be to run a test grid to find the optimal settings.

Hi. It turned out very cool! 👍 Say me, does the luban program work only with its own lasers and or can you connect a completely different brand of laser engraver to it? I would like to see a lesson on g-code from you.

It only works for Snapmaker machines. They are 3d printers, cnc, and laser all in one.

Thank you so much for your tutorials. I am very new to this, can you please tell me what software you are using.

I have a Snapmaker Artisian 3 in 1 (3d printer, laser, and cnc) that uses proprietary software called Luban. But every laser does the same thing. The only real difference is that different software labels things differently. Example: Some machines use LPI (lines per inch), DPI (dots per inch), or like mine dots per mm. It just takes some converting depending on what your settings require.

@MadeByMervich thanks! Wow, that is some machine! I see lightburn in my future. My goal is to make small gifts for families that have a loved one in Hospice. You are helping me formulate a plan.

what software are you using? I am using AI with my ULS M300 and I have no idea how to set up the laser to handle all the different shadings.

My machine uses a proprietary software called luban. What ever software you have, you should be looking for greyscale.
