@@TridentFishing Lures. We have fished that general area (north and south of the Wilson cut) for over 30 years. We use to drive down the road towards the plant and wade to different spots until they put up a gate.

Ayyy, bru . Rainer...I waded that area and caught live bait to the right. Big mistake. I kept seeing tracks on trails in the marsh....distracted by catching bait...freaking Croc was about 20ft away..big boy. Ran the hell out...lol Rainer..Port A....tight lines..

@@garciaflats Those marshes are by Port Aransas . They have wildlife refug there. You can see the gators sometimes to 14'. Got plenty of mud minnows...thanks.

This spot is about 6 miles south of Port A. We’ve fished here over 30 years and never seen a gator or tracks. I’ve seen the Gators in town by the sewer plant.

That flat from croaker hole back towards the highway used to be my go to walk in summer time wadefishing spot before they blocked public access. We would kill the redfish in there! Its really shallow so I dunno about taking the boat back there, but I do know there are fish.
