Sir, this terminal is known as the “Tom Bradley International ”.... and NOT the Tom Brady terminal. The walk from the furthest westside terminal, #8, used by United Airlines takes about 20-25 minutes, depending on the time of day. Passengers departing domestic flights - who have onward international flights from terminals #8-7 United, #6 Alaska, Air Canada, Horizon, #5 American, Air Canada, Jet Blue, Spirit, and #4 American Airlines can utilize this passageway without having to exit air-side, thus no need to go thur TSA again. I know Tom Brady came out of retirement to play again, however - he did not move to Los Angeles, and have an airport terminal named after him!!!

Thank you for the video. In 10days I am traveling international alone for the first time . I am flying from Denver and LAX is my connector. My flight receipt do not show the terminal but I looked up today’s flight . Todays flight will arrive to terminal 2atLAX and fly out from terminal B. How do I go from terminal 2 to B ? And how long it will take ? walk or shuttle bus? I have no clue and it stresses me out so much. Please help me. Thank you.
@FlyingCaveman1
@FlyingCaveman1 2 жыл бұрын
@Yeonhee - there is supposed to be a bus that takes Delta passengers from Terminal 2 directly to Terminal B (Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT)). This is without leaving security so you don't have to re-clear at TBIT. I am assuming your bags will be checked through onto your international flight and you do not have to claim and recheck your bags. Here is a video kzbin.info/www/bejne/aqKVfKp4d6mXY68 If you can't take the airside bus you do have to exit Term 2 and either walk (about 20 mins), or wait for a shuttle from T2 to Term B. It runs every 10 mins. I hope this was helpful and please let me know if this was good advise. Safe travels. Flying Caveman

@FlyingCaveman1

@Diby - That's something I haven't done so I am unsure. It depends on if you have to claim your baggage and recheck it. That would require customs and immigrations which I think you would have to exit the secure area and re-enter. But if your bags are transferred by the airline from one flight to the next, I would think since you're not leaving the airport, just connecting you might be able to use the connecting tunnels. You should ask your airline, they should know the proper answer. Wish I could have been more helpful. Thank you for watching my videos.

Hi! I'm flying with United to LAX and then with Asiana Airline to Incheon, Korea. @FlyingCaveman1

@ Tea Aura - If they are both on one locator record (ticket) they should check them all the way to Incheon from your origin. When you check in, pay attention to the baggage tags and if they are only tagging them to LAX, remind the ticket agent your itinerary is ticketed to Incheon. Since you shouldn't have to recheck your bags, you can take advantage of the passageway in the video and avoid the TSA process as long as you do not leave the secure area. I hope this is helpful.

Im actually wondering whether i'll have enough time for my connection to terminal 6 with alaska airline since i just realize that we have to go through baggage claim and custom in LAX before the connecting flight 😑 as for the baggage will i have to bring it to terminal 6 to get it check in or is there a transfer desk to put the bags after the custom? I am using one itinerary ticket for my whole flight so i assume that the baggage already have a tag for the final destination? Will i still have to go through security too? If yes, how long will it take to go through the security? I am very nervous and hoping that i can make the connection. Any info will be appreciated. TIA
@FlyingCaveman1
@FlyingCaveman1 Жыл бұрын
@TheLaniemoetz - If your connection is on the same ticket i.e. same airline alliance you can probably recheck your bags right after immigrations/customs. I believe Alaska is OneWorld and SIA (Singapore??) is Star Alliance. Since you have a one itinerary ticket you should be able to recheck your bags. Many of the international airlines have interline agreements with major US airlines. LAX is, fortunately set up to handle a large volume of international travelers so the baggage claim and customs/immigrations is usually moving pretty good. 1H55M should be enough, even having to go through TSA again. Global Entry/TSA PreCheck helps to expedite TSA security check. I hope this helps. Let me know how it goes when your trip is complete. Best of LUCK.

@elsakissll5066 - Your baggage should transfer from AA to Philippine Airlines automatically, so you should be able to go from T4 via the connector without leaving and accomplishing TSA. Should be simple. Thank you for watching my video, I'm glad I could assist.

@elsakissell5066 Hi there, were your checked bags automatically transferred to Philippine Airlines or did end up having to claim and check in with TSA again. Many thanks!

Would the same work for Terminal 5 to TBIT ?
@FlyingCaveman1
@FlyingCaveman1 Жыл бұрын
@saravaneshs465 - Yes, TBIT is connected via this to T4, T5, T6, T7 & T8. I didn't show T5 in this video because I actually walked under T5 to get to T4 where you then turn left just before security to go to TBIT and avoid doing TSA again. Thank you for watching.

Misleading video. I thought you were walking from TBT to Terminal 1

No intention of misleading. The opening segment shows from TBT Through T4 to T8. T1/T2/T3 are not connected via any sort of walkway. I hope they are in the future.

Please help! Can I walk from T1 to T7 and how long it takes? I'll be flying from Den @5am to LAX @ 7.15a by Southwest and then depart by United airline at 10.50 am to Thailand. Will i have enough time to get to T7 and have 3 hours to spare? I'll have checked bags.

@Phimsuda - it’s a 30+ minute walk and if you’re dragging luggage that will be quite a long way to go with luggage. I’d recommend taking the terminal connection bus that is in front of T1 to T7. It picks up every 10 mins so don’t worry if it’s driving away as you approach the bus stop, another bus will come along in 10 minutes, usually about every 7 mins. Hopefully Southwest can check your bags to your United international flight. If you have to pick up your bags at T1, again proceed to bus once you’ve got your bags. You should have more than enough time to make your connection. Not very many international flights from T7 (I don’t think) so TSA should go pretty quickly. If anyone else has helpful comments please add on the this reply. Hope to make your travel experience as safe and stress free as possible. Thank you for viewing my video.
