Just a lil fashion tip for grunge fairycore/goblin earthy vibes is to like layer with big sweaters ( I wear my mum’s old sweaters and my dads sweaters & shirts) (one extra they’ve done with them! 😉) and thrifted necklaces look rlly cool as u are likely to find longer necklaces. Hope this helps!

@@BloomFTF I think it’s because of how Ashley Tisdale made the skirt over jeans look infamous in the 2000s. She actually did it terribly by over accessorizing with clashing pieces, but that doesn’t make the concept bad. If you haven’t seen her just look up Ashley Tisdale runway 2000s. It doesn’t look like how people style skirts and dresses over pants now in 2023, and even she’s roasted her old outfits.

Tip for the double belt! If ur going out for an amount of time that u wouldn’t need to go to the bathroom, go for it. But if ur gonna be out for longer then just wear one belt, while maybe putting some chains or charms on it to recover the lost flare!!
@heyits_cat89668 ай бұрын
Or if the belts are over skirts... just like lift up your skirt instead of undoing it and like dropping it to do your business. Keeps the top tucked in, accessories in place. Also feels safer in sketchy bathrooms that might not be the cleanest

Excellent video with awesome suggestions! So if you're really attached to your necklaces but you're wanting to experiment with changing the length, they do have a variety of necklace extenders, and it's not terribly difficult to make your own. I think just having the cording of your choice with lobster claws at either end would work pretty well, especially for aesthetics with more diy-type clothing and accessories.

I feel like one really have to know your bodytype (like kibbe or anything alike and silhouette) because a person who is rather tall, has small shoulders, a long torso and little waist definition has to layer in another way than a very small, petite person who will be overwhelmed easily, or like I am, a rather small SN, broad shoulders and shorter legs (because I just look boxy REALLY fast)
@dressrelief2 жыл бұрын
That’s a good point! I’ve heard of kibbe and think it could be a good starting point to learn how to dress to flatter your body, but personally I’ve just learned through trial & error what works for me 😅
@ThisEvilBunny11 ай бұрын
For Natural types (in Kibbe) I think we can play around with tops but the bottoms always need to be fitted. Not tight, but follow our natural lines.

I love layering shirts over dresses because there are never enough good skirts and also something that I think looks awesome is skirts over khakis. I do black dresses over green khakis with a vintage green top jacket and bright orange khakis with a yellow and red striped dress and a green button up top over the dress. Pants under skirts are just great.

a tip i have is to find your style first. Like for ex the cottage/weird core style has more random stuff like scarfs or jackets + random colors (mostly brown or green tinted). The coqquete style has more soft corset/sleeve focused layering. And the acubi style has more oversized (mostly black, white, off white, and blue) and heavy looking clothes (also i recommend getting arm warmers. they seem useless but fit almost every style, especially acubi)

I guess the first thing that stood out to me is that a lot of the layering was more suited to a warmer climate. I live in a climate that summer is like the only hot part of the year and the rest of the year it’s really cold. So I just want to ask how you would layer for warmth and do it ascetically? Because I would really like to know how to do that instead of just throwing as many layers on as I can.
@dressrelief9 ай бұрын
Thats a good question! I’ll try to do a video on that as well :) disclaimer i am from a warmer climate so i will have to do some research/brainstorming. Off the top of my mind tho i think investing in really good underlayers/thermals will help a lot!
