I love how you guys focus on basic elements to help us make the dance more alive and sensual instead of teaching long patterns. Great job and of course, thank you!!

Thank you so much for the positive feedback! We believe it is very important to focus on technique and connection before learning long and complicated patterns. Maybe in the future we will also show interesting patterns! 😊

I like your video. I am a male. I find it difficult to do the body isolation while dancing.. Do you have any videos that demonstrate clearly the body parts isolation with exercises. I very much appreciate. You both are a wonderful pair.

Can you explain what the follower is supposed to do with their legs? A lead told me the follower is supposed to have close contact with both thighs to be able to feel the movement- but this seemed awkward to grip the lead's leg with my knees/ thighs?? Still trying to figure out how to follow this move on the dance floor...
@RobertoyMagdalena Жыл бұрын
Hey there! 😊 Your legs shouldn’t be too far away from each other and they are both bent. One leg has contact with the leader’s legs (the one in the middle), but you should never grip/grab the leader. That is a fundamental rule in Bachata Sensual. If you grab the leader you are not giving him the freedom to be able to lead something else and you might cause that he loses his balance. Hope that helped :)

This is modern bachata or sensual?
@RobertoyMagdalena2 жыл бұрын
Well Bachata Sensual is normally very smooth and consists of continuous movements, and this is case we are still performing the same movements from Bachata Sensual, but we are breaking them so that they are not continuous anymore. We do this to be more musical and to adapt to the different types of songs that there are.
