Ron 👑... I never knew the term but "Off-Angle" is really a neat word on finding angle off the center line of sight of your opponents... and use it against them. 🤔

You're one of the greatest to ever do it, and I always appreciate your videos. I'd be interested in your thoughts on the map design of Valorant relative to CS - every off angle you found in Valorant for this video was exposed or one and done (i.e., if multiple players are swinging you, you are likely to get traded out). 90% of off angles on Valorant (if not more) will be like this, due to the map designs, which offer very little cover and few strong positions. I've often felt that Valorant should have many more, varied, smaller objects to provide interest and cover on its maps (as you showed on Ancient, there were many objects and positions which make the gunplay and tactics much more interesting). Do you believe this would be a good change for Valorant?

I think you're spot on, as a CS player who tried out Valorant at launch the one thing I felt was awful was the maps. The maps in general just felt off and bad compared to CS maps, and then Raze released when there weren't gonna be any big killing abilities they said and it was over for me.. lol
@RonRamboKim9 ай бұрын
the big differentiating factor between cs and valorant is that valorant has sooo many abilities, so the map design has to consider all these possibilities
@hasbeen47729 ай бұрын
@@RonRamboKim understood, I just wonder how the addition of strong positions and cover would break the game, even with those abilities. Especially because while there are many different abilities, there's actually less total utility available in a round than in cs.

Cam you go over crosshair placement and how do players like shroud just drop in on a new map and seem as though they know the they home, how do they develop that level of "familiraity" with something completely new for them
@RonRamboKim9 ай бұрын
shroud has insane reaction time, visual reaction time, and elite level mechanics which makes it so easy for him to transition to any game. he has mastered the fundamentals which apply to all fps games
