Hi Amanda, truly I support one comment stating "your generosity to share your knowledge for free like this is beyond measure" is very true. I got HD just by watching each of your videos relating to each topic in my Professional Accounting Masters at Deakin University. I still listen and watch your videos as they are not just for learnign but inspiring and captivating.

Hi dr Amanda. If given such situation; Client implemented wrong accounting treatment to one particular account. We as auditors, proposed audit journal adjustment. Client followed our proposed audit journal. What should be our opinion? Unmodified or... should we put in Notes or its not necessary?

Hi Binc! Do you get to bring all of the standards in with you to the exam? If so - then being organised is more important that remembering them all :)
@bincbg43544 жыл бұрын
AmandaLovesToAudit Hi Amanda! Thank you for the reply. We don’t get to bring the ISAs list to Exam. We are given case questions and have to figure out which ISA we can apply and what the requirements are.
@amandalovestoaudit4 жыл бұрын
@@bincbg4354 Ok - I'd take the approach of learning 2-3 key things about every single standard. Of course, in ISA 560/570 there are more complications. But some can be very brief like "ISA240 - auditors must consider any potential for fraud, and if an indicator of potential fraud is present - gather evidence to determine if fraud may be present". Good luck!

Hi Shubham - you are much better off drawing them yourself to really embed the knowledge. I use a lot of diagrams in my explanations of audit concepts - many students take a screen shot from my videos. You can find them on the study guide - bit.ly/studyaudit

Amanda, what is the purpose of ASA 101, compared to ASA 100?
@amandalovestoaudit4 жыл бұрын
Hi Daniel - I honestly don't know why they don't combine them (& that is a great question to ask the AUASB Technical Director the next time I catch up with him!). They both way we have to comply with the mandatory requirements. ASA100 says that these are represented by the bold type - but the bold type doesn't exist anymore in modern standards. So ASA101 explicitly then explains what paragraphs under specific headings you have to follow. This is definitely something I will be asking the AUASB the next time I get a meeting with them!
