This is something I was looking for. How to play violin faster. Things get easier when you dedicate your time for it but also when you get a teacher or someone that take their time to teach you. Can you do a video about some violin techniques like vibrato, tremolo, staccato etc. Thank you violininspiratiom for the amazing work. I wish you a productive and blessed year!

I agree 100% Elton! A teacher to not only teach you "how-to-play" but also make sure to guide you personally in the learning process. 😊 Regarding the techniques you mentioned. I do have a video about vibrato, here is a link to my previous live vibrato workshop: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hGWqaGeEmMymrsU Also if you would like a more personal learning method (as well as the other techniques you asked about) , I would love to teach you as well! You are always welcome to check out my online violin academy: m.violinspiration.com/join-us/

I love your passion for teaching. I needed someone to say, 'it does not matter if you don't learn as fast as other adults.' I have a great love for music since school through my mothering years and now into my 60's. I love music played with full emotion. So I understand what you are saying. Balance I see is the key. Critical discernment, but not trying to be overly perfect first off. As that leads to disappointment or unbalanced life. Your three points make sense to me. Thank you so much.

Thanks Julia for uploading videos that can help self taught beginners like me. Enrolling in Julia’s Violin Academy was one of the best decisions I made in my violin journey. I previously tried learning on random videos in KZbin but the number of violin tutorials only overwhelmed me. In Julia’s Violin Academy, aside from having a curriculum that is well thought of and well structured it has a very supportive group from the teachers to the other students. Hope you’ll continue making these great motivational videos as well as your easy to learn tutorials. More power to you, your channel and your online academy!👍

I’m so grateful to find your Channel today I learn twinkle star I had violin one day and spent 1 hour. My violin in a stagg electric this plug in gives me the chance to listen to bouncing and scratching. It took me 10 of that hour to relise I had to rosin the strings. I’m learning slowly including finger placing. I would love to learn to play green sleeves on violin and many classical music. I’m not perfect and I’m still perfecting my bowing. It’s something I feel drawn to. As a child I wanted to play violin I already play guitar, but violin is my life long dream. My parents were not well off. I’m looking for a online teacher I don’t like face 2 face. I don’t like people. Thank you for advice I will let it marinade and project it into my practice.

@Violinspiration3 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can learn the violin practicing 30 minutes a day. Consistent daily practice even for just 10 minutes is more productive that 3 hours of practice 1 a week. Your body needs consistency to develop the muscle memory to play the violin. I definitely think it is worth it. But then again, I am biased as a teacher and violinist. I love both so much!

Some days practice goes okay and other days it seems like I keep doing everything wrong and then I get into a low mood. While I try to practice 30-60 minutes, other days I can only get through 5-10 minutes before giving up for the day. I’m not good at counting in my head and don’t know how to really do it correctly or anything. It also doesn’t help that I could try counting and still end up speeding up.

so why should you not learn vibrato from 1 month?
@Violinspiration3 жыл бұрын
Mostly because you want to have pretty good intonation, since vibrato alternates between pitch. There are so many other basic foundations you want to make sure you are doing correctly at one month that adding vibrato might be too much too soon. But really its up to you. Everyone learns at a different pace! If you feel you are ready you should go for it!
