Comprehensible Turkish

Жыл бұрын

Comprehensible Turkish is a resource of learning content for those who want to improve real abilities in the language rather than just getting knowledge about it.
Watch interesting videos, acquire the real Turkish language naturally and automatically, enjoy the progress!
The videos try to be easy enough for a complete beginner to start picking up the language.
This method is based on the ALG method developed by Dr J. Marvin Brown ( algworld.com/ ) and Stephen Krashen's Comprehensible Input theory.
How to watch the videos?
-Just watch and listen attentively.
-Don't try to translate each word in your head.
- Try to understand the main idea of the video.
-Pick up the videos according to your level in the language.
-No need to understand all words being said in the video.
-Rewatch videos several times. (It's very important)
-Let your brain do its work by itself.

That moment when you don't understand everything BUT you start understanding some phrases here and there and the realization of your Turkish skills being better than you thought they were hits you

Kanalınız hayırlı olsun, input bazlı metotlar maalesef az biliniyor ama KZbin sayesinde daha çok keşfediliyor. İçerik çoğaltmak lazım, sabır ister ama bu kadar yaptığınız bile değerli bir katkı, sağ olun var olun

@@anonymousshahana9134for me at first I learnt as much vocabulary as I could within certain subjects and then the sentence structures and such with examples. Ofc you won't memoriise everything 100% but as long as you have a general understanding. Now I'm trying to get better at listening and speaking because I find it difficult when they speak quick. And try to respond accordingly.

@BilalShah-fn9fo Yes they speak fast .I feel after sentences we must read short paragraphs n write them .What I did was learned word meanings ,short phrases n connecting words like bu yuzden, ve ,cunku etc in order to make short sentences long. Now whole day I think what ever I talk at home same thing how must I say in Turkish ..Then check on Google translate. What else must I do.Some times what ever happens at home I write down n check on google. What else can I do ?Some body guide me I want to learn to speak fast.I really like Turkish .

I'm excited to see what will come of this channel! I'm learning Mandarin this way as well. Btw, in my experience, using hand gestures corresponding to the words you're saying greatly improves comprehension and retention. Maybe it's useful for your videos too. Keep it up.
