My friend was leaving Thailand for the first time so I decided to take her to the airport and show her how. She was super excited to fly to Europe for an extended vacation. After a small fiasco, we got her checked in and she was on her way to her gate. Join me as I show you a few ways to leave Suvarnabhumi airport on your next trip to Thailand. Although taxi or ride hailing is the most common way, today I will take you on the Airport Rail Link train. After a short ride on the train, I hopped on a canal taxi and instantly got lost once I got off. To my delight, I found a cool little video game bar that was quite spectacular. A quick lunch at a local Japanese restaurant and I was finally on the right track to return home.

At Suvarnabhumi always check the departure board it shows the check in counter letter/area as well as departure gate, makes navigating the chaos easier

The airport rail link is great as long as you don’t have a lot of baggage and are traveling alone🤣. The new grab area is also great. It can be a little hectic, however. The river taxi runs right behind my condo and it’s a good change of pace although it can be a little smelly at times.🤪 Nice vid 👍

⁠the food is delicious plenty of chilis and plenty of crab meat. Most of the line outside daily are Chinese. There used to be 15-20 food delivery motorcycles parked outside but I’m not sure if that’s the case now. I ate there a few times before covid and it was delicious as well as reasonably priced. I live right around the corner on Sukhumvit but only go down that way for a visit to Healthland and head on over to Don Don Donki around the corner.

The meter broken trip might be a misnomer about airport taxis. I think they’re meters have to work at the airport pick up. I’ve haven’t had one not use their meter from BKK. To BKK is a different story lol

Yeah, I think she’ll probably have a different opinions after spending some time there. But she is loving the greenery and the beauty of the old buildings and castles. You only have to wait to get on for them to clean it at the very end of the line. They don’t do it at every stop.
