When he grabs the thigh, why does he hip switch and then posture back up onto his knees, when he’s at that position already

I had the same question. I *think* it’s to dive really low/fast to beat the leg with the head, and then get the knee between the legs.

You can't leg drag properly when lying down like the first position of the thigh grab, getting to knees and most importantly his toes is enables him to actually move past the legs, up to the hips and eventually side control.

hi josh? want to ask one question, which is more help for bjj take down that judo or wrestling ?

Right now I’m leaning towards wrestling just because in judo there aren’t any leg grabs! (This is if I *had* to choose between wrestling and judo). I think both are probably great though. The problem too tho in wrestling is that there isn’t any submission threat.
