Thank You….I have grandkids that love to frequent high end second hand or thrift stores for treasures ! Then they need grandma to help them fix, hem, take in, let out, remove sleeves and collars, whatever it takes to make that treasure work! This will be so helpful!

I have a daughter who was very, very tall and very thin when she was young. She would grow too tall for her jeans long before she outgrew them width-wise. I used to do the same thing to pants so she could continue to use them. Sometimes I put a print fabric insert she liked between tthe leg and bottom hem piece. It was a great money saver, and her pants fit her well.

thinking of lengthening much higher on the leg as the jeans are torn at the knees and i think seams would look cool there
