Something I've learned from personal experience is that HARD WORK allways beats talent. But, however, passion ALLWAYS beats hard work - for if you are truly passionated about something it will be almost impossible for you to quit. But in the end it is obsession that prevails. If you are truly OBSESSED about something, then no power IN THE ENTIRE UNIVERE can stop you from accomplishing your goal. Obsession is immortal, there is no need for expectation, because you are living it day in and day out. IT IS YOU. You simply become what you crave, what YOU ARE OBSESSED ABOUT. Failure will not be an option because the option of GIVING UP will be none-existing. Thank you for your time.

I have the opposite of this where I don't do good in things so I don't have others have high expectations of me so the time that I mess up I don't disappoint them or hurt them so I make myself the disappoint so they don't have to be disappointed.

I'm literally crying while watching this, because since childhood whenever it comes to girls i always expected that they would like me if i would do this or that, but most of the times the opposite happened, rejections. And i learned this thing to not expect anything from anyone but still when you're with someone and you start liking them and things start doing well, you start expecting again that maybe this time it's gonna work, but it doesn't. That's really heartbreaking when you fo everything you can but the only thing you get is disappoinment. Thanks for the video bro, maybe i can fix by mistakes by following your tips this year.

I had the same thing happen with guys... I finally figured out everything I was doing to show I’m a nice girl with a big heart and would be a good partner etc. just made me look desperate and way too available. I stopped expecting them to do certain things and started telling them what I need. If they agree to that expectation then great, if not then I can’t expect them to do that and have to decide if that’s going to work for me. Try not to be attached to the outcome... difficult but still try. Some of us are burnt out on wackos, some of us are still healing from past trauma, some of us have lost trust in people and have become paranoid. Our experiences shape us as affect how we handle new people

Lower your expectations and set an example through the way you treat them through Kindness and enjoy the gift of giving. If they don’t want to give back then then it’s always good be open to more friends. If you live this way of feeling complete you also attract people who feel compete and whole, so just be open.

I wanna thank you so much. I was here getting angry and troubled about a date who isn't replying me, it may sounds very stupid, but these expectations about meeting someone new, in a date way, kills me every fucking time, it makes me awful. Seeing this video, I saw you like that type of friend that you goes to get something out of your chest and you go wanting to hear something, and that friends tells you everything you need to listen and not you what you wanna hear, and that's really good, it's a wakeup slap on your face, so thank you! From this moment on I will try my best to not create expectations about someone, and it's okay, maybe something good will happen or not, and it's okay!

You are so right. I expect too much from myself... I try to do a lot of "productive" things because I want to make sure that I will be successful in the future (even nothing in the future is truly certain). It's almost like I'm swearing that I'll absolutely hate myself if I fail. If I become a "failure" in the future. But then it's just too much pressure. And it impacts the quality of my life in the present moment (which is truly certain). So thank you for sharing how important it is to let go of expectations. Thank you for sharing that no matter what happens... that even if I fail or succeed, I'm still a good person.

It is indeed a blessing to stop seeking approval or acceptance of others. Some of us are so busy trying to fit in and win acceptance, they mould themselves out of their good shapes and into something they'd rather not been...which is sad. Everybody wants to inspire, but most forget that inspirers do what most others generally don't. They go through and emerge winners bearing battle scars. To be able to give up expecting is truly inspiring because it is easier said than done.

Thank you! You made me cry! It was wery hard for me to watch this video. I still don't think I could let go of my expectations. I will try. I expect other people to treat me with the same kindness I treat them but they treat me like shit and I can't stand those situations, I cry, hyperventilate, get panic attacks and people think I make drama, while for me it's so exhausting and I also feel ashamed. When you say it's ok it both helps and hurts at the same time cause I don't think I can be that strong if I get mistreated again. I hope one day I will overcome it. Thank you.

You are doing great in your life gurl; if you treat others good that just makes ‘you’ better each and everyday, that makes you a good person. Its not your fault if they treat you like that. They are just they.. and no matter how much we try .. they gonna remain they.. feel pittu for such innocent creatures of god who cant feel grateful when someone treats them good, they are simply so messed up to embrace the good. If you love the way u are.. just keep going😊
