After watching dozens of videos looking for help with leveling my fridge, this was the one that really nails it. Thank you!

thanks for posting this. I wonder how you determined to put the shim in the back right and also how much to adjust the front.

I’m watching this video cause I have the same problem. My fridge makes noise and lower in back. I’m going to slide fridge forward and put a level on floor in back. I think I need 2 of the shims for but sides of back?

Should the front of the fridge be higher than the rear? That's what multiple sources online are saying. Maybe I heard wrong but sounds like this video is suggesting to keep the front and rear perfectly level

is there an adjustment to keep the refrigerator doors from swinging HARD open? I'm thinking the hinges are going to bend at some point.

So helpful! Hope it works. Just to have a name for the required part is magic!

Thank you sir! I was stuck getting the grill off. I thought there were some type of latches on the side. The instructions looked like you would open these latches first. duh! Didn't fully realize they were just telling me to have the fridge and freezer doors open at 90 degree. For my door adjustment I had to raise by 8 or 9 partial wrench turns to get it where I liked it. However, I did run into some problems with the top of the DOOR RUBBING against the upper door hanger. But I just loosened about 3 turns to get it to stop rubbing. Still a very acceptable adjustment. I think the original misalignment was also affecting the open door sensor. Hope this fixes that issue. So far so good. :)

Do all models of Whirlpool fridges have a kickplate?

W service for sure! 🎉

wait, what? You said they come unevenly to compensate for loading the refrigerator, yet you then adjusted the door to show alignment? Are you implying that you would do that AFTER loading to fine tune it?

This video was sent to me by whirlpool to help with the problem of my freezer side door not opening enough . This video did not address my problem AT ALL. The fridge side opens up completely almost flush to the wall . The freezer side only opens 90 degrees. Do you have a video to make the freezer door open more ? I was told by a Lowes repair man that they are not made to open that much . This is not true , my friend had same make and model and his freezer door opened flush to the wall . I get annoyed every single day with the door pushing against my shoulder when I am in there trying to get stuff or reorganize things . Please help .

I cant adjust a screw when it is pushed down by a 3 ton fridge. No help at all.
@rksr70266 ай бұрын
The weight of the fridge won't prevent the adjustment screw from turning. Must be something else at play. Perhaps it is at its limit (up or down) or corrosion has taken place.

OK, Doors are level to each other now, but they are both 1/8" too low it feels like.
