@CJC - is the commuter kit that is on this truck the $2,150 option? No Add ons... if not, what add ons are shown here?

Best thing I ever did was getting this set up on my 2020 F250 7.3. My truck rides almost as good as my 04 GMC 1/2 ton...and handles way better with the progressive springs and shocks. I basically did the same set up and am super pleased and have logged 60k miles with out issues. I still pull 15k front endloaders and a 34x12' wide 13k boat..no issues at all. On my next truck which will probably be the same in 2024 or 2025 I will try the soft Deaver rear springs and their air bag set up.

Man, I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on ordering a new truck. I love my 2013 Ram and I was going to get another one but you guys are making it hard on me with these Fords you keep posting up😅

If the KMC's had just a tiny bit of concave, the wheels would look wicked. B-Roll on point!

I have this setup on my 22 SD. I love the ride and everything about it except for one thing... The finish on the rear spring pack. It had spots of rust when I got it and now after a year, it's worse. Not too big of a deal but I worry about it long term.

NOPE ! I ordered a 2023 F350 Lariat Tremor with the 6.7 High Output on Feb 6. The new Super Duty looks FAR FAR better in person than in a video or picture.
@TheReticKeeper Жыл бұрын
@armedprophet3321 agreed. I had a 22. My 23 came in and I couldn't trade my 22 in fast enough. Everything about it is far superior than the out going model that's basically from 2017. Suspension. Power. Interior. Even the [ ] headlights are so much better. The trucks are awesome in person. My HO pulls like a train.

I am really interested in the commuter commuter system but it is a little out of my budget. I would like to do it a little at a time. What would be the best way to approach it?

I just installed this kit on my F250 wth stock rear springs, Airlift airbags and stock 20" rims. It drives great and tracks well but still "hits" harder than I want on rough pavement. I tow an 8000 pound Airstream with 950" of tongue weight. I would like to get more sidewall on the tires. Can I assompllsh this with the stock 20's or will I have to go down to 18's?
@CJCOffRoad Жыл бұрын
You can accomplish that via tire pressure adjustment and larger tires, but the airbag kit is also going to hurt your ride quite a lot sadly. The bigger the tire and smaller the wheel, the better your small bump compliance will be.
@crewblanchet3361 Жыл бұрын
check your manufacturers Application of Load Inflation Tables, run your tire pressure just above what the weight rating is. Monitor tire wear for over/under inflation and adjust accordingly. The ride will improve tremendously. On my Diesel F250 I run my 35x12.50r18s at 40/front 30/rear cold when unloaded. I was running it at 35/front 22/rear but was experiencing under inflation tire wear on Toyo AT3's. 60k miles with at least 10k more before I picked up a carriage bolt in one of the tires.

Is this setup basically the same for a F350? I ordered one still waiting and i want to run 37s with the factory stock wheels thank you

How’s the road noise on the recon grapplers vs the ridge grapplers? The ridge’s are pretty quiet
@CJCOffRoad Жыл бұрын
The Recon Grapplers and all but silent. They're a good bit quieter than the Ridges, which are already a pretty quiet tire.

2.5 to 3.5 inches depending on what height the truck started at from the factory. www.cjcoffroad.com/collections/2-5-systems/products/carli-2017-ford-super-duty-commuter-2-0-2-5-suspension-system

Hey CJC i like ur stuff and appreciate ur work and videos. But i always left with the desire to see the vehicle running thru bumps and some potholes just little movement of the suspension here and there instead of these just the standing shots. how do i know how soft it is?. so kindly get some running vehicle shots in all ur videos and show me some suspension magic happening. Some of ur videos have that.
@CJCOffRoad Жыл бұрын
To be completely candid, getting those shots requires 2-3 people to be out of the office, so it's extremely difficult for us to do as a small company. We do out best to get them when we can though!

Horrible highways in Southern California, eh? You have to wonder where all those tens of billions in tax dollars goes. You guys are being literally raped by taxes...the marginal state income alone is nearly 13% and then add 10% or more in sales and local taxes...and then tax on all utilities, gas tax rate very high, etc...you're lucky to keep 60 cents of each dollar you earn yet the roads tear your vehicle up. Beautiful weather, but quite expensive to live there if you make decent money.
@dubbyad Жыл бұрын
lol… hope whatever your career is doesn’t involve doing math. 13% tax rate applies to a not the top like .5% of earners out here. I moved out to CA from Texas last year and my total effective tax rate (Fed+State) went up by less than 3% by the time I took care of deductions and credits, this in spite of making almost 40% more money. In exchange for that I got better weather, better food, way nicer people, and I’m ~2hrs between some of the best surfing on the west coast and some pretty decent skiing in the mountains… stay ignorant my friend

Roads are better than where I live now in Louisiana.. you want to see some potholes. I now need some Carli Suspension.
