This was a very fine detailed video Simon! Can you please tell me which lid lock pins on the motherboard would need to be jumpered to disable the lid lock? Let's call the top row of pins 1-2-3 and the bottom row of pins 4-5-6.

@@appliancepartspros The model number is LG WT7100CW. I've since learned that the pins are numbered on the lid lock plug from the top left going Clockwise, 1-2-3-4-5-6.

Unfortunately, the manufacturer doesn't recommend bypassing that switch for safety reasons, so they have not provided information on how to do that.

hello simon what do you know about a kenmore 600 series washer it has new lock lid switch and it want slide to the lock position. and the washer just starts flashing with no code?? please help me sweet man!

So I replaced the door lock, like you said. But when I go to hit start wash, the machine just beeps and dosent activate lock,.. does the washer need to be reset on the control panel once you replace a part? I have the new LGWT7100CW
