The method we use can be hady if you are moving the TV around and have thrown away the packaging. whilst LG do recommend using some of the side packing to support the TV when lifting it,we find it can be awkward to hold and it can move about.By using your bare hands you are able to get a better grip and control. Also when wall mounting the TV,the the side packing is too bulky to allow you to get the TV close to the wall.

Not having a butler (lol) and doing it by myself, what I did was attach a wall mount bracket with longer screws than would normally be used. This allowed me to use this as a handle for lifting. No danger of damaging the screen. Your back on the other hand…

I had to lift my 77" two nights ago. By myself. I decided to mount it on the wall finally. Talk about an oh sheet moment. I got it up there but luckily it only had to go up about a foot from where it was on my tv stand. I had to get my 90º bent leg underneath the middle while sitting on my tv stand facing the wall. Not ideal and a little nerve racking but I got it up. Ha

@@SoftHeartHuman So it went okay. It definitely helped that I kept the box so I could literally wrap it back up but you absolutely need two people to maneuver it.
