Stunning as always! You are such a good instructor and I own every brush, lip liner and eyeshadow from BK, so I’m really without excuse to be doing at least ok in my makeup looks ❤ So off the subject, in watching my Christmas movies I have seen your TWIN! The movies are called Destined at Christmas and Destined 2: Christmas Once More. You sound alike, look alike, both beautiful. Shae Robbins is her name

Love your entire look in this video. From the sweater style and color and bringing in all the gold and whites in the jewelry. And the makeup, gorgeous. Thank you for all of the tips. While I've worn makeup all my adult life, I didn't begin to try to learn techniques until a few years ago. It was my pandemic bread bonus. I still struggle with techniques like the wing, even a baby wing. I believe some of the reason is because I have crepe-y eyelids. Love to hear any tips you (or anyone) might have for those of us who are older. I'm 63. Thank you!

Love how your look turned out, Lisa! Also noticed BK Beauty has some very beautiful, Fall-appropriate new-ish lipsticks out, which I love💄💄I like your tip re:eyebrows (mine are very sparse) & using a darker shade to fill in & a lighter shade up top to outline so they don’t look too heavy!! 😊❤

How do you fix the undereye if mascara or liner or eyeshadow transfers/travels later in the day or anytime really?
@lisajmakeup Жыл бұрын
I would make sure you are setting with powder under the eyes, if your concealer is heating up throughout the day it can cause eyeliner and mascara to transfer. Also set any kohl liners with eyeshadow.

Hi Lisa, I am from South Africa, I struggle with the eyeliner wing, I am 58 and have lose skin on my eyes, do you have a tip for me to do the wing “over” the lose skin
@lisajmakeup Жыл бұрын
Hi Madelein, great question! Best tip is to look into the mirror straight to create the wing, don't lift or tug the skin to create it because when you are looking straight ahead it will change so you want it to be in the natural state of your eye. After you have created the outline, you can then fill in any gaps or areas where the skin folds. It may take some trial and error but see what works. :)

Personally, doing my eyes specifically my eyebrows, are my favorite part of my makeup routine. It’s my eyes that transform my whole face. I start looking tired and plain since I have dark blue undereye circles and flimsy eyebrows to looking awake and put together.

My eye shape is much more curved than yours. They seem more almond shaped, so if I went out straight, I’d have a big triangle to fill in. Maybe do this trick on people with different shaped eyes?

Why does every makeup artist doing the shimmer? I’m 66 and I think shimmers look so unnatural. Sometimes I notice they look blotchy. Should a woman my age alway go with black mascara?
