Fantastic lighting and that’s a really good point about using flags to create more randomised shadow depth, super helpful
@UpHillCinema6 жыл бұрын
Thank you. Flags are something we forget to talk about, but are just as important as lights.

What were your exposure settings (ISO, Shutter, Aperture, ND's)? This is important to know so I have a reference for how bright your light setup was! THANKS!

So you gelled the 1k with CTO since it had a color balance of I assume 5600K to basically match with the desk lamp/look like the light coming from the desk lamp. Did you do anything with color on the M18? You don't mention it, and it looks 5600K about on his face/head where that light hits, so I assume it has no CTO and the window light just looks Orange because of the color grade?

Levi, I love the content. Nice work. Please take this as constructive but, it would be great if you edited out some things like the stumbling with the software when reviewing the schematics or anything else like that. I am expecting to cop flack from other viewers on this, but I think it would make the content more watchable because I find myself jumping forward on the timeline to get get the info. Thanks for posting.

Hey Levi, thanks for the run down on lighting that scene. The footage results were super! What type of camera did you use for that scene? Also, you might want to play around with Sketchup for 3D diagramming. Example: bit.ly/2jzDwaS - It's got a warehouse of free object downloads so you don't have to draw the images yourself! - www.sketchup.com/
