I love to watch Jerry Ghionis' understanding of light uses. He's very talented and creative.

your Ice light 2 is SO expensive and is cost prohibitive vs other forms of lights will this ever go on sale? How close to a $200 MAP can you go for this ?

I have used two Neewer 160 LED lights, 32 $ each Amazon. Comes with champagne and gold filters...... I use kitchen aluminium foil to shape the light source. These are useful..... Thank you.

+CORNEL STAN LOL. He didn't copy anything from Peter Hurley. Clamshell lighting has been around forever. Peter Hurley's method is mostly flat beauty lighting with (mostly) four panels of continuous daylight balanced bulbs set in a square formation; at times he'll take out one of the panels and use a triangular configuration. His subject would be placed exactly where the light from all panels converge. So no, Jerry Ghionis copied nothing from Hurley. Clamshell lighting is a staple portrait and beauty type of lighting. Hurley didn't come up with it. Ghionis doesn't shoot in a square or triangular formation like Hurley does either.
