Lovely! 😍 A couple questions: 1) What weight of yarn is this? Would you do anything differently if you were attaching a fabric to a super chunky or super lightweight handknit bag? 2) Pockets - Do you have any advice for customizing the lining with pockets? I like the idea of adding a zipper pocket but worry that would add too much weight, maybe a slip pocket would work better? THANK YOU for sharing your expertise with us! Thank you for watching and saving the video! This is DK/light Worsted. I don’t think I would do anything different for other weights, to be honest. Adding pockets is a great idea. I think a light plastic zipper wouldn’t add too much weight and would add functionality.

Did you consider making the lining wider or, say, pleating it so you could get a little bit more space in the bag? Or do you think this would cause an issue?

No, In this case I wanted the bag to be able to lie flat. I don’t think pleating would work well here. Have you tried that before?

@@Lisamakes alas, the extent of my experience lining bags is limited to looking at my crocheted bag and wishing it were line so it didn’t stretch out so much. I think the pleating would work for my bag but I’m intimidated by the idea of making a pattern for that
