Hello, the same thing happened to my client so we used my phone to scan her BRP and it worked. Change you phone. I will be travelling to Nigeria by November and return to UK by 1st December with new passport because my passport expires by 31st December. Is it possible to still travel and return to the UK then start with this e visa processing?

I think so. The deadline is 31st of December 2024. You can also do it now before you travel and then when you get your new passport, update your eVisa with the new passport details. I don’t see anything wrong. I am not an immigration advisor though, I am only sharing my opinion. All the best and safe journey. Remember to share this video with all your friends and family. If you need a share code, use your BRP. Follow the instructions in this video. Right To Work UK: How to get your Share Code for Right to Work in the UK kzbin.info/www/bejne/hZmyemaOgrCHY6M Remember not all NFC phones can read a BRP. Borrow your friend’s phone and delete the app afterwards.

This is my assumption that you have not created a UKVI account yet but you have an old and new BRP. In my opinion, you should create an account with the new BRP and link your eVisa. Hello, I created my evisa account with an expired BRP as no-one was able to tell me if I should wait for my new BRP to create the account. Now, I have a new BRP. My question now is if I should change the New BRP number before adding my passport.

You can add the new brp to your account. Since it’s the latest one you have. Just go to your Ukvi account and link it to your evisa.

@@AbdulHamidShahanOfficial Hi, I don’t understand your first question. Why did you switch your previous visa to eVisa why not switch your current visa to eVisa? When you switch your current BRP to eVisa, your current immigration status should show online. Yes, you need to link all your travel documents (including passport) to your eVisa especially if you intent to travel anytime in the future. This is because at the borders they will check your eVisa matches your travel documents. The UK government ask that you should update your address if it has changed. There are a list of things you are required to update. I answered all of these in the video. All the best.

@@sumiranaz5638 It is important to provide your travel documents so that you will not experience problems on the borders and when your BRP expires, you can get a share code for right to work and rent early as your current passport details is linked to your eVisa. Are you seeing your eVisa? I mean your immigration status? But you can’t see the place where you should update your records? I would say, try again to update your records. Please watch this video slowly to know where I clicked on to assess the service. If it fails, contact the eVisa department to make a complaint.
