This shockingly works on the Uconnect 5 system in the Durango as well. The trick was to set the profile and then hit lock on the fob. Thank you!!!!

Thanks, manual is crap and says lock. But you need the car turned off and wait for the screen to go blank then do this. Wouldn’t have got this without your help. Appreciated 🎉

Correct on both. Big Horn doesn’t have memory seats as an available option. Laramie with memory seats will have the ability to link the key fob to memory functions.

OK, nowhere in manual is there any mention only one fob can be programmed per memory number.. I wondered, and deleted memory for my black key, then the red key set in one try. Been going nuts...

Be sure you have the settings linked to key fob turned on and that you press the button on the key fob within the time frame. That being said, I’m not sure that I’ve linked the key fob on a UC5 radio. I don’t think the process is different.

Yep, did all that. Especially annoying as I did a lot of IT problem-solving before retiring and prided self in being able to trouble-shoot many things. My dealer’s sales dept mgr had no luck with it either, nor has followed up with a promised fix. 🤔

After you press the button at the end, did the driver display show a message at all?

No message at all when pressing key on remote. Correct messages do display when pressing door panel buttons. Settings are definitely saved in our two profiles and are able to be recalled from door buttons and by switching users on touch screen. Neither of 2 fobs can be linked to either profile.

Instead of pressing the lock button to link the key fob, try pressing the unlock button.
