How to Live in Exile - Jeremiah 28-29

We join Pastor David Guzik in chapters 28 and 29 of the book of Jeremiah. David takes a deeper look at a dispute the prophet has with the prophet Hananiah, and how Jeremiah writes a letter to encourage those in exile. He reminds them of the faithfulness of God who will eventually bring them back from Babylon to Jerusalem.

I had to smile at 33:20 because that was me when I got to see Pastor David in person. It was such a shock as I’m in Florida and decided to visit that church at the last minute. I still thank God for that experience. Great message as always, blessings!

What a blessing it is to take the yoke that God offers us... The yoke of this world and our flesh only cause us more pain and suffering, but Jesus us offers us rest when we simply yoke up alongside HIM!

Well put, it is a heavy burden indeed. With God's help such hardships can be carried, steadfast in the knowledge we are abiding in Him.
