Yes you can James. It's pretty easy. Just click the "CREATE" button after logging into your KZbin account in the upper right of your screen. Then click "Go Live" then you will see a field that shows you stream key. Then do the same thing you see in this video with OBS Studio.

It depends. If you get tons of views they allow for 4k (I think) but when you start out the resolution is lower. I think it's only 720p. Don't quote me on these facts.

Creators were asking about how to stream to pages. This is what this explains. There is a plugin that will do this at OBS. It allows you to send video using your CPU on one stream and you GPU on another. A weak laptop won't cut it. obsproject.com/forum/resources/multiple-rtmp-outputs-plugin.964/

​@@ScottFichter Personal thing that I would have found that really helpful at the start. Just so it's setup so the tutorial can just be followed, or in my case skipped. I worked in IT and in areas enough to make me safety paranoid to not use location services anywhere, and certainly not on facebook. Photos of family and locations I am at get posted with all the exif information required for Facebook to use; but they can have the details extracted by the right people with the right tools. I am too paranoid to allow it. Having said that, another great tutorial! Keep it up sir!

@@WarbearPrime Julian, I could not agree with you more on you thinking about privacy. Let's face it. FB is nothing but a data collection tool for the citizenry of the planet. I see through the b.s. Thanks again Scott. You're right on top of things. I see someone already asked this...we're using a MacBook Pro at our church and I wonder if OBS can stream to both Facebook and KZbin simultaneously. Also, since I'm not a Facebook user, would I be able to do this when it's my turn to perform the streaming since my phone would not be listed on the Facebook account for authentication? What if we don't have any phone listed on the Facebook account as it is only used on a MacBook and managed by our church office? Maybe we need to use Re-stream.

Great Video Scott. Setting up for our church. Question i have is do we have to set up a description for each service we post? When we press go live in OBS do we need to do anything else in Facebook, like press go live? Or does it just go live from OBS?

OBS sends the stream to Facebook when you press "start streaming". However, you must go live in Facebook either manually or scheduling a live event. And you have the option on letting Facebook make your stream live automatically (start the stream 10 minutes prior - set up live video...inspect, etc.) or you start it manually. In Facebook you create the description for your event/service. FYI There are some great Facebook help groups: Churches that Livestream, Church Creatives, Church Sound Engineers, and Church Creatives. Post questions to the community and/or read answers. Much wisdom there.

Make sure your not behind a network or software device that is performing TLS interception. If your at your house and your the only computer connecting this fix will not apply. Your firewall might be the culprit. Consider turning it off and see if it works. Aggressive antivirus software that installs a root certificate might also cause this. Don't stream to multiple platform at the same time. Consider uninstalling then reinstalling OBS. Use only one computer. Two computers can screw up your connection. Create a restream.io account, connect your FB to your restream, set OBS to use restream.io In OBS Settings under advanced make sure that the network bind to interface has the correct IP address selected. Make absolutely sure your OBS is fully up to date. Some older versions will not support the required RTMP. If you using Mac OS Update your system. Make sure to use a persistent stream key. This is a setting on the Facebook side. make sure you que up Facebook live via publishing tools and grab your stream key first. Go to Settings -> Advanced in OBS, and set the "Bind to IP" option back to default. It's rare but sometimes the issue can come from Facebook.

There's nothing wrong with him saying you don't have to use OBS to connect to Facebook. 4:30 . If you don't understand, replay the video. Even slow it down. I can tell you're frustrated, but Scott should not be a target.
