How to Load a White Mechanical Pencil With Lead

When I saw you use this to draw your guides on dark paper, I decided to try it out. The lead refills actually fit one of my Papermate mechanical pencils. That was perfect for me so I didn't have to add another pencil to that overflowing supply drawer.

For right now, I don't see myself needing this type of mechanical pencil. I'm more focused on drawing, but I hope that in the near future, I'll start working on calligraphy skills. Currently, I have white sketch charcoal pencils. What I've learned about these pencils is that they're made of chalk. In your experience, will they work any differently than the mechanical pencil that you're demonstrating here? Thanks

Hi! I really don't think so -- this is also made of chalk. The only difference would be the super thin, clean lines this makes versus the sketch charcoal pencils. Obviously, if you keep them sharpened, they'll make thin and clean lines, though!
