What size Jig and hook you typically use.
@KidKrappie

Typically a 1/16th oz with a number 4 hook I believe
@micbarca9777
@micbarca9777 10 ай бұрын
@@KidKrappie that sounds like a good plan. I've been using a bigger Jig head to get my set down to the school faster. Problem is the hook is bigger, but it's a 6 so that shouldn't be a problem. I miss a lot of bites and was thinking they're not taking the entire hook.
@KidKrappie
@KidKrappie 10 ай бұрын
@@micbarca9777 I get my jigheads custom made for that reason. The store bought jigheads go up on hook size as the weight goes up. I like a smaller hook myself

Yoyoooo. Thanks for all the info bro definitely learn more and more every time I watch one of your videos. We appreciate it. I have a Quick question, when you pull up to a nice brush pile stacked. Do you try and start picking them off from top to bottom ? Or do you kinda just go in the middle of the pile at first ? Thanks in advance
@KidKrappie
@KidKrappie 10 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching! Your support means a ton! I try to pick off the highest fish that I can see when starting. They are typically the most aggressive and are usually your better fish. I hope that helps

that;s how I've been ketchm kid. one after another whether on a dock or bank. have you tried close to bank? we are experiencing false spawn in no mo and it's crazy good right now. been that way since september. GFY showing the folks the fishing is just getting great like it does every fall.

Man!!! Everyone says fall is a good time to fish • but every time I go out on the water . . . The pressure is high and the fish are nowhere to be found !
@KidKrappie

They get really tight to cover and tend to be a bit deeper when the air pressure is high.

Try bridges next to creek channels, and if you don't have a boat look at your lakes depth chart online it's a great way to find fish from the bank.
@ppdrawings

@@Gstar5150 Yes, I'm on my boat but I'm usually fishing this reservoir where there are no bridges,, no docks,, and no standing timber - it's a really difficult lake to hunt down crappie!! You really have to know what you're doing out here
