When the SHTF I’m going fishing, at least we can trust fisher men. Great video friend. I have no problem catching crappie during spring, summer and fall but winter crappie fishing is a different level of expert which I am not.

Forgot to ask... When you say "shad in the area" what approximate distance from the target cover do you consider "in the area" Thanks much...!
@crushincrappie652510 ай бұрын
Great question - for that area of cover - about 20' The fish were laying in the break and the Shad were suspended above them deeper into the channel a bit - they were circling in an area of stable water(25-30') and the Crappies were advantageously feeding on them! Hope this answers your question and please don't hesitate to ask more! Thanks again for watching Sir!!

I bought the B&M 10 ft jigging rod you recommends, tried it out today with triple rig and caught 15 crappie only 6 keepers. FYI the B&M rods are now 20% off at Cabelas plastics are about 50% off!!

Really enjoyed this video! You always make it look so easy. I went about 3 times this winter and found some in lay downs but not in the numbers you are able to locate. Maybe I need to do some more scanning of the lake along the creek channels to find the deep laydowns??
@crushincrappie6525 Жыл бұрын
Hi Scott - Yes!! I've found a few in the laydowns as well but I would definitely hit the channel and scan it areas of Cover. When you find some - circle back round to it and light it up on Down-scan if you can - scanning the area thoroughly and if you find a school of fish - be mindful that they my move on and off the cover suspending back and forth a bit. Keep after them Scott!! Keep in touch! Thanks for the feedback and thanks very much for watching Sir!! tight lines!!!

Hey Andre - thanks so much for the feedback and I'm so glad you're enjoying the content. I'm considering guiding in the future but not right now. But I've much more instructional content on the way which will hopefully provide some value catching these delightful crappies!! Spring is almost here!! More vids to come - thanks again for your support! Tight Lines!! and I saw your Launch video Great Job Sir!!!!

Love your videos, as they are entertaining as well as educational. One suggestion on safety, please remove your "pedestal seat pole" to ensure you don't trip over it and end up in the freezing cold water. I've seen it happen a few times. Keep the awesome videos coming. God bless you!
@crushincrappie6525 Жыл бұрын
Hi William - thanks so much for the feedback and yes, the pedestal seat pole has to go - it's stuck and I've been trying to get it off - I've managed to get a few screws out - on my list to get it safely removed before getting back on the water!! Definitely need to keep it safe!!! Thanks so much for watching and for the support Sir!!! More to come - Tight Lines!!!
