For the 50cal, you go underneath the latch. Hook it from there. The only difference is that the padlock key hole is facing up.

@@akaruchoose2693 (Pad)locks are designed to keep honest people (including kids) out of things, nothing more. Any thief will smash and grab or steal the entire box.

You can do that to every things that locked thought, 99% of ammo box lock with those kind of locks.

don't even need a bolt cutter... you can spring the wire to come out of the channel
