How to log your RS3/TTRS with the UNILOGGER from Unitronic

I have had the privilege of using this amazing datalogging software from Unitronic for a few months now. It is by far the most effective logging tool I have ever used. It captures some 40 different parameters all in one run. It also automatically produces a graph for you to see your results at the same time! If you are using Unitronic software on your RS3 or TTRS already this is a MUST to check on the health of your vehicle.

One thing that makes it much easier to use is instead of clicking the tiny icons with your cursor while driving, you can press letters 'P' = PLAY, 'R' = RECORD and 'S' = STOP. I love the Unitronic logger. Such a great tool. Awesome video Adam!

The arrays start at 0 for cylinder 1 because in coding 0 means 1. Every array will start 0 which technically means 1. Hope that’s helps. Love the video! Just got it downloaded will be logging soon

Probably just lacking a little octane. If you blended a little E85 into your pump gas for an E15 to E20 blend you'd clear that right up.

Thanks for the video! I just logged my RS3 Daza, running stage 2, 93 octane file. My car feels fine and strong, but I wanted to try this out anyway, but I see during my 3rd gear pull, the ignition retardation was -1.5 on a couple from 2000-3000 motor speed, and then at 5000-6000 motor speed, 4x of them were -1.5. Does my car have a problem? Have any advise for me to check if this is a problem or not? The stage 2 file is for 98 RON, and I am using 99 RON fuel. (UK)

No problem whatsoever. That's totally normal on regular pump gas.

It will automatically upload all your logs next time you connect to wifi with logger open. Then you can ask them to check your logs if you're having issues.

Keep in mind that Unitronic tunes are not custom tunes. They aren't going to be revising your tune unless you are using a BETA tune and then they might make some changes. The reason you want to log your car is to make sure your car is working as it was intended.

Just gone to do a log on my rs3, I have the option to see actual boost but not target, any idea why?

I believe they have removed that from the logging tool because it was causing too many people to worry and think something was wrong with their cars when there really wasn't

At the moment, yes. I think that they are working on making it available for all Unitronic users though.

There is no changing parameters. Unitronic offers Off The Shelf aka OTS tunes. If you want to change the tune entirely you'd have to plug in your laptop.

There should be a hell of a lot more than 5 or 6. Try uninstalling, doing a full new re-install and if that doesn't work contact Unitronic

Yeah I dont seem to have the manifold pressure target on mine so cant tell if im making correct boost in the UK running 99 ron on the stage 2 98 file im pulling upto 6° of timing if I use booster it sorts it but its also when not pulling timing doing only mid 7 100-200 Uni just say its fuel quality run it on 95 file .... I pull no timing when using booster on the 98 file but only doing 7.6 100-200 from a launch I should be loads faster i have no idea what could be going on iat not going about 35°c im decat sports exhaust etc 🤷‍♂️
