If you wanna try longjumps on kz servers and you're new to it, I would recommend trying the 240 blocks at first, and max 6 strafes.

You have a start buttom you press E on to start your timer and then you make it through the map and press E on the buttom there is at the end. But besides that, didn't you just watch this video about how to longjump and his previous about how to bhop?

This was actual bug in quake 1/quakeworld. But because bunnyhopping got really popular they never patched it. Counter-Strike was developed as a mod for Half-Life. Half-Life runs on the Gold Source engine, which is based on (a heavily modified version of) the Quake engine. So nope, Source engine/Valve didn't invent this! It was bug in quake engine :D

First strafe gain is pretty important too. There's a lot that goes into longjumping and it is useful but don't be a jumpstatter or a filthy binder; and certainly don't null. If you want to watch good players, Nykan or Lewly stream on Twitch.

The more important thing than the sync is airtime, and that is how long you hold the keys when strafe, good airtime is 9 to 13, all over or below is bad

Dumbed Down Version: Strafe makes you increase speed but makes you travel a longer curved path to get to the destination so you want to make a lot of small straifs to still get speed increase while traveling a straight path.

baisicly yes u can get way higher longjumps on 128t then on 64t the furthest longjump landed on 128t is around 256 units but on 64t is around 249

I use to use the jump throw bind but not it doesn't work in MM anymore. Is it only not working for me or did they ban the jump throw bind for MM?

Jump throw bind still works in MM (source: Using it currently almost every game), it was once banned in tournaments, but most tourneys allow it now. Double check your bind, you maybe have done something wrong or need to tweak it a bit
