I am 41 and have often been told that I dress old for my age. I just dressed comfortably for me and thought I looked fine. Since I found you though, I realize what I was doing wrong. One new classic I’ve discovered is hand care.... my hands are changing with age and I had to find a basic well manicured look but simple and timeless ....I use Mary Kay Satin Hands scrub and moisturizer, a short strait-across nail shape, cuticle remover cream, daily cuticle conditioner, and quick dry clear base, pink cloud sheer, then a hardening top coat. Timeless!

The camel blazer is such a flattering length. One of the things that struck me while watching is that most of these things are universal - except Chinos! I think of these as quintessentially American (even more than jeans, which are worn everywhere), as I seldom see them anywhere else. I have never owned a pair, nor a pair of loafers. I have very good taste, as I was raised among ladies that dressed in the Classic style? Including my Mom.. As I have been interested for years passed in the Trendy look, I now view it as "Trashy". I'm now seriously into the Chic Classic reverting back to whay I grew up looking at. I dont like any bright colors except for bright red in Handbags & shoes, and maybe a bright Yellow maybe with an accent piece Tank top as well as the bright Red. I may also add some pop out colors in scarves too only.

I very much enjoyed this video, ty. I like the styles and colors. One of the problems I have is finding blacks that are all the same hue. I have some wonderful black pants and I found a great black cardigan but the hue is completely off, I didn't notice it until I got it home, washed it, hung it up and forgot about it until I wanted to wear them together and I was so aggravated when I saw the difference in color. One is like a black black and the other is like a cool greenish black. It's hard to explain!! LOL! But the two just don't look right together to me. Perhaps i'm just being to picky. What do you do in situations like that?

Maybe if you could find a swatch of black that is a nice true black to take shopping with you. That sage green jacket & those softer blues looked wonderful on you. I have enjoyed all the different options/versions of the cardi/cover-up that have come out over the last few years but I must say I am tired of open front jackets & blazers. It's been tough to find jackets & blazers that actually button up & are lined (that aren't black) Same with trousers that aren't ponte knit & come in something besides black & grey. Idk, maybe it's just a plus size problem?

I love all your outfit combinations but unfortunately we live in southern Texas and it’s too hot for me to wear most of those things in the spring time. I’m stuck in a rut wearing Bermuda shorts. And I don’t work outside the home so I would not have a need for all those adorable outfits. Would you consider doing one for women that stay home and live in hotter climates? In our climate we go from wearing jeans to shorts. There doesn’t seem to be a Capri season here.
