I love this movie so much. It takes the ancient trope of a guy tricking a girl for a bet and said, "but what if she wasn't the victim and was clowning him back the whole time." It's a much better twist than the "girl makes the bet" not-really-a-twist.

Do you think they got the 'Frost yourself' idea from the song 'Diamonds are a girls best friend' - re the line 'Black, Starr, Frost Gorham, talk to me Harry Winston, tell me all about it!" I mean, there's that subconscious link between the words 'diamonds' and 'frost' - all thanks to Marilyn Monroe in that pink dress. Can we get that movie on this channel as well - 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes'? Jane Russell is amazing in that movie as well as Marilyn Monroe - "The Olympic Team? For me. Now wasn't that thoughtful of somebody."
