No Cap. Coming from a Mesomorph dat Gains weight & bloats up like crazy, plus was born with round thick ass face, dat swoles up like a thick ass heavy Duty Michillen Tire. When I started of at 218. I did, IF, 20/4, OMAD, Plus HIIT 5days a week, plus low carb..then keto. Lost like 40lbs in 3 months. But almost died. Twice. Skinny crackhead looking. Twig. No Bueno. Then I started weight lifting. Cut cardio, but bulked up way too fast to to my genes. The thick ass face fat came back n mid section. I couldn't find the right balance for my genes. So I did more research. And dude here is in point. Once I started Calisthenics, The RIGHT WAY. Bruh Lean ass shit. I could eat MORE. And not even worry LIKE DAT. I bought Gymnastic Rings. And the rest is History. I eat clean 80% of the time. Plus track my shit. Cals/Macros. ( Mon - Fri , Clean. On target No junk food , no junk snacks. ) My stomachs flat and my 6 Pack breaking thru. Eating churros and pizza hut on the weekends. God damn Mongolian BBQ stacked.? Tell me how my Love handles went from Burritos, to tacos, to enchiladas. To a fucking bread SLICE.? Calisthenics is the way to GO. If your a Mesomorph like me and haved always suffered from gaining weight too fast. Hope this helps. There is hope for you. Keep researching and understanding.. YOUR OWN BODY. & the results will come. Blessings my ppl!!!.

All he said are on point, but permit me to contribute to the community. If you have excess body fat, it would be beneficial for you to know that engaging only on cardio will mainly focus on fat burning, which is during your workout. but adding resistant training to your workout will make your result faster, this is because you're burning fat and building muscle at the same time. You will burn fat during and after workout. Compliment your workout with proper kitchen discipline, then your results will be insane. All the best fams. FITNESS IS LIFE AND LIFE IS FITNESS.

Resistance training hardly burns any calories though. Too burn fat you must be in a caloric deficit. You can eat more during a cut if you do cardio. It's also great for your heart. The most important muscle.

I gained 6 pounds because I was a little to aggressive with an attempted reverse diet. I had to move back to the easier band for my pull ups because I couldn't do my pull ups which Bar Naturals knows because he's my trainer. I haven't lost all of that, but last time I was able to use the next band again. Hopefully, it sticks.

and if your bulking you need to do some cardio obiously not more than 1 hour combine them with resistante training becuase if you avoid cardio how are you going to send signals of maintaining low fat porcentaje

When training with calisthenics is it better to work with straight sets or circuits? I’m 200lbs with 17% body fat. My current goal is to get down to 14% body fat and 190lbs.
@thewayihandleit4 жыл бұрын
Hey That's good money & Prez. I have been training calisthenics for around 6 months and have gotten a lot stronger but i've lost a ton of weight even though i'm eating far more now (around 2600 calories) on a clean diet. I'm naturally lean and probably in the class of ectomorph but my goal is to put on size. I thought about maybe switching to weight training but ideally I want to stick with body weight stuff. I notice when i train i dont rest that much in between sets as i'm kind of doing circuits like you suggest in some of your videos. Is this sending signals like you mention to burn fat rather than build muscle maybe? I was wondering if you could let me know how I can switch up my training to build size? Thanks in advance
@RamsBereit4 жыл бұрын
Once you reach a certain point you won't put on muscular weight because your muscles have already peaked (genetics) if you don't give them a good shock by upping your game, such as adding weights to your pull-ups and squats, push-ups then you are stuck at your optimal level.
@tonytonytv37364 жыл бұрын
train both do calestetic and weight training. and up ur calorie count more
@nikolaj974 жыл бұрын
Circuits arent the most optimal way of building muscle, i mean, they are, but up to a certain point, i suggest doing supersets, reduce rest times, up the number of sets and/or reps and as others suggested u can add weight
@thewayihandleit4 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot for the replies - I'll definitely take them on board @kiwireddy B - Since i've only been training about 6 months I dont think ive peaked. but it's true maybe more body is getting used to the training and so is not shocked. I mainly do the same exercises over and over like pull ups, push ups, dips, squats, pistol squats, and core training. i'll invest in a weight vest but i'm currently at 12 reps max for wide grip pull ups. @tony tonytv - i do train with weights sometimes but i have an existing shoulder injury (tore my rotator cuff) a while back and i feel some pain especially when i train shoulders with weights. i'll try and eat more though. @pedro dias - as above, i'll try to eat more - as it's harder for me to gain weight than some of my training partners and i'll try to add weight while trying to keep good form. @dzongi - isn't reducing rest time more conducive to burning fat though? like i say ive been training pretty hard and couldnt believe that i was actually losing weight whilst eating way more.
@iliveinsideyourhouse39434 жыл бұрын
@@thewayihandleit I recommend getting a gym rings. It's will definitely gives you more gains. Also, Best way to train to gets muscle is to train to failure which mean at the end of your workout, your muscle gotta be exhausted as hell.

I been doing full body workout twice a week and sprints 3 times a week...should i flip it to look more muscular im trying to lose 5 more pounds of fat? Also is full body weight training better then split days?
@MrPistolpete12343 жыл бұрын
Jon smith, I would say keep doing what your doing. That sounds like a good routine, and should give you a nice physique over time. Be realistic with your expectations, Rome wasn't built in a day, plus you will only get so big and muscular due to genetics. Don't bother with splits unless you want to be a bodybuilder, the routine your on now will be better for the health of your body, good luck
