Sometimes people are dangerous to our physical, mental, and emotional health. I believe the only way of loving those people without imperiling ourselves is from a distance and with prayer and blessing them. Sometimes love must be tough. Ex. A physically abusive person must be held accountable for their actions. It does them no good to enable their behavior by letting them off the hook.

I have had horrible experiences with people who have hurt me when I was at my most vulnerable point in life. It took me a while to forgive them, it wasn't automatic. When I finally forgave them, and especially when I managed to forgive this one particular person, I didn't feel anything. I didn't rejoice. I'm not expecting any reward here on earth or in heaven for any forgiveness. I did forgive because even though I would never do to anyone what was done to me, I'm not perfect myself so I can't judge anyone. There is a Supreme Judge who will take matters into His own hands. When the time comes, they will have to answer before Him and I will have to answer for my mistakes as well. It is reasonable to allow someone perfect to judge our mistakes and other's mistakes, and it is kind to forgive since we ourselves are not perfect. We would have to be perfect to "throw the first stone".

Those that come against you are Broken Vessels that are used by the enemy. Take nothing personal, for God will not offend you; for he Delights in you

@@managermddirect6045 thank you for your comment, I truly appreciate it. God only provides good things for us and makes good people show up in our lives. He only gives good gifts :) Many people blame God for their misfortunes, but I know that everything evil comes from the Devil. I also know that God can turn evil into good and that's comforting.

Hélia Alves God uses the good and bad for our good. Sometimes it takes a bit for us to see it, but it's the truth. I've been through a lot of bad things yet every single one God used for my good or for the good of someone else.

How can I love brothers and sisters in Christ who are so difficult to love? I will be very transparent to say that I struggle with this, because there are Christian leaders in church who are very hard to love indeed. I don't mean to bad mouth about Christian leaders, but I have had very bad experiences. Leaders who keep pushing things for me to do, not even asking me whether I am coping ok with my studies in University at a particular week before considering whether to put me on cell duty. My major is very busy with many tight deadlines and assignments, but I have had leaders who still get me to serve almost every cell meeting. It's not that serving in God's house is bad, but I really feel very overwhelmed that church people are not even sharing the serving load together with me?! I just feel very burned out, and I am wondering if there are churches out there who recognise that some people's capacities are not that great, and who can extend grace and solid support to people like me who feel overwhelmed easily...

Perhaps you just need to speak up and let them know how you feel

@@kari4443 But what if after telling them that I cannot cope with the amount of church activities, they still say things like "How are you spending your time" and "If you look to God for strength, He will make a way"? I don't know man, but there is something very wrong with the way that my church's leaders are pushing young people to serve in planning committees and events, without even considering their capacity, season and specific God-given giftings. The bible did say very clearly that all of us have different gifts, so not everyone can be cell leaders, teachers, or always planning activities etc.

I believe you ought to speak truth, and be honest and said I cannot do all of these that you asked me. God and say we must be a doormat he just said speak up and be honest. Truthfully, many of the leaders do not know what the true responsibility is because all they're good at is delegating. And you need to speak up that's it my brother. Serve God not man

The fact that your thinking your not saved because of your sin means that you are shining light onto your sin so you now see it, you are Godly but just remember its hard to stay godly in a ungodly world thats why we should talk to God every joy and every trial. God bless you✨

This is really a great message..... it really shows what true faith is. Only by *really* believing the promises of the Bible about forgiveness of sins, future reward in Heaven, etc. can we live these things.

Jesus said in John 15:12 " This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you" Matthew 22:39 " Love thy neighbor as thyself" Notice he didn't say to feel love for your neighbor emotionally. But he commanded it as for by your actions despite what emotion.
